Cecily Strong looked the hottest I can recall seeing her on the show when she was dressed up as Peter Pan.

Really good episode. Martin Freeman was one of the better hosts in a long time. pretty funny monologue

I don't think I hated a sketch this week. even the cold open was solid. The obligatory "get Leslie Jones in the spotlight" wedding sketch was the worst, imo, and that would have been middle of the pack in other episodes. Sump'n Claus was dumb. i just assume Jay pharaoh wrote that, as Jay Pharaoh sucks.

I liked the weird sketches they did - the ketchup one, the lounge singer one, and even the waterbed one was kinda funny despite hammy bryant being her hammy self.

The other 2 taped segments were great. Weekend Update was solid except for Jacob. There will never come a time when i don't fast forward that face. Cecily can do no wrong as a character on Weekend Update. Sasheer missed the obvious joke - the only brown emoji with eyes is a piece of dogcrap. how do you not make that a racial thing? that's a good joke. ... but i digress

Charli whatever seemed terrible. barely watched. seems like female pop singers are getting dumpier and uglier as they come along - Gaga, Kesha, Iggy, this chick. meh

I got tired, so I went to sleep after Update. I think the Jacob character is great, maybe it's because I'm Jewish. Overall, Update is not good, but Che had some good jokes. I laughed pretty hard at the Dick Cheney one.

The Hobbit Office sketch was amazing.

the Queens joke was perfect WU. short, sweet, funny.

I can barely stand Vanessa Bayer's goofy face normally, when she ramps it up as Jacob and talks like that I just have to get it off my screen

Her music was not my cup of tea, but ugly and dumpy? I think not.

Good episode, highlights for me were cold open, LoTR Office, and Cecily's WU character. Taran Killam was pretty hilarious as the flamboyant morning show host. Rest of weekend update was good too, but I am over Jacob. I liked the character once or twice, and I like Vanessa Bayer in general, but so over Jacob.

One of the best episodes in a long while with Martin Freeman. Very few misses or lulls.

I find Leslie Jones funny but I think she is a love or hate kind of cast member.

The torture sketch was particularly well done

The Charli girl has kind of a 7 face but dumpy/ugly seems a little strong. Though I would generally agree that most of this new breed of young pop singer chicks don't seem as hot. Except Katy Perry who I would destroy but even she's 30 now so probably doesn't fall in that group.

Comparing against those in their 20s heyday like Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson, Beyonce, early Faith Hill etc. Then Shakira and so many more. Maybe the young people today think Taylor Swift, Charli, Iggy Azalia, Lorde good what would I know.

Anyway I liked this episode and still feel exactly the same about all the cast members as I did last week.

Wow, apparently she co-wrote Icona Pop's I Love It. Never really thought Madonna was all that attractive from a physical perspective.

You have to go back a long way for that.

I never thought she was that hot in the '80s.

still watching, but Office Christmas Party was horrible. I'm just chalking that up to Jay Pharoah. he's done nothing well outside of a couple impressions in 4 years.

Why even bother doing a music skit like that post-Samberg? it just ends up looks like a bootleg Dick in a Box guys or Lonely Island

Michael Che is no prize, but man, Colin Jost's jokes are so soft. He can't sell them either.

Yeah the office Christmas party was such a blatant Lonely Island ripoff. Episode was mediocre to decent. Kristen Wiig may have been the highlight. Garth and Kat get me every time. The Asian doll commercial was pretty funny.

really good episode. Dr. Evil cameo, asian doll commercial and Serial spoof were highlights.

Amy Adams is talented, sketch isn't really her forte but she did fine. Monologue was lame but I'm a sucker for Kristen Wiig so it worked.

basically every skit was enjoyable for me except for Girlfriends talk show, which has long run its course and needs to retire, and the last cat skit, but I didn't really pay attention to that.

and yeah, Colin Jost is brutal

Colin Jost is awful but Michael Che is missing a golden opportunity to shine by being equally as terrible
