I think the first 10 mins have been terrible. This show should've ended after Jim and Pam's wedding imo.

Edit: Ya, great season opener fellas. Do they have different writers now or something?

Pam was looking very, very good. Otherwise very eh episode. As much as I love this show, its fallen pretty far behind Community and 30 Rock.

I'm fascinated that a network could air "Outsourced" and not have it be the worst thing they air that night.

Agreed.

1A) Community
1B) 30 Rock

3) The Office

4) Outsourced - Seriously, wtf was that. Cancel it now and air P&R reruns next week if they aren't ready yet.

Outsourcing had its moments, but I honestly don't see where they can go with this show. At the risk of racist ban, a predominantly Indian cast may make the show difficult to catch on in popularity.

Office episode was alright, but "alright" seems the ceiling for any episode these days. I do have to say, though, that having that dweeb Gabe steal Erin from Andy is one of the more WTF moments the show has ever had. I mean... que?

do i need to catch up with any story line to watch this opener?

I missed the whole second half of last season.

Pretty much continuing the trend placed by season 6 for me. This episode had a few moments/one-liners that provided a good laugh but then lots of stuff which fell very flat.

Agree. Feel like they tried too hard with that.

I'm glad Creed's one liners this episode was not the standard "I'm a thief/criminal/murderer" that they were doing every episode last season, so in that sense...killlled it.

They've been bringing in a lot of new ones since season 5, when Michael Schur and Greg Daniels left to do Parks & Recreation. I think they had a huge impact on making the show great in its peak.

You can check the list of episodes to see who the writers of each episode are. The team just isn't as strong as it used to be and they don't quite know how to capture what made the old episodes great. In fact, a lot of the time they miss the mark completely.

That was the best I've seen Jenna look as Pam. She straightened her hair out or something. I got bored of her for awhile last season, but I'm back on board.

i hate office threads. it should be segregated into two threads: ppl who like the office and ppl who complain about watching it every week.
