This show has definitely rebounded from an overall weak-ish season 3. I've been enjoying it quite a bit.

1>2>4>3?

Seems pretty clear-cut, though maybe 1>4>2>3 by the time this one is over.

I loved the last episode. Especially the 127 hours Phil thing, just amazing, plus Gloria's Uncle Grouchy act.

One thing I don't get, why are people so in love with Luke's random right-wing talking point jokes? I mean, all they do is get something Limbaugh or Beck would likely say and get a kid to say it. Is the joke that the kid is smarter than everyone else and sees things the way they are? Or is it that right wing talking points are childish and stupid? Either way, this device isn't that great.

Loving season 4 in general though, I liked what happened with Haley and the college, I found it to be a refreshing move away from traditional 'happy-ending' writing.

It's funny because right winged talk is reserved mostly for the uneducated and luke is as uneducated as it comes while the actor is a major genius.

I know that this is the general consensus on here but Phil used to be my least favorite character by far. Kind of like an annoying Michael Scott wanna-be. Now I like him a lot more.

I liked Manny as Moses "parting the red sea" to get to the promised land. They do visual gags well.

Aside from the Obama joke about the IV bag, I don't think I've noticed a lot of "right-wing" jokes coming from Luke. What have I missed?

Anyway, agree that this season is much better than last season. Every episode this season has been killing it.

Also, did Alex throw the competition? The question she missed (Who wrote the 95 Theses) was easier then the questions she was answering in her scene with her mom at the end.

There are so many little gags they throw in that you'd miss if you're not paying attention. Like when Phil was talking on the phone while trying to get the house lights set through the iPad "I'm... NOT TOO BRIGHT! (chatter chatter) I'm... DIM!"
