Anybody else been watching this?

It's the coolest concept for a game show that I've seen in a while, but the same problems persist that they seem to have with every game show since Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

- Moves too slow
- They have a freaking minute long decision sequence "Do you want to take your $5,000. Or... or... or, you COULD go on to go for $10,000. Think about it, let's meet your family and see what they have to say about it...

There are some other minor tweaks, but as far as new game shows go, it's pretty good and I'll prob keep watching.

Yeah it's really dumb when to ask if they want to stop after the first level with 3 lives left... But I think they do that so they can clean up and setup the next challenge.

Yeah, I wish I had DVR. I could watch an episode of this in 15 minutes.

Definately a fun show. The cool part is you can practice before you even go on the show. There's no way that dude that hit the 12 eggs into the cup would have done that if he didn't practice in real life before the show.

This show is actually much better then I expected. I'll be tuning in weekly.

+1 on viewing on DVR, there is a ton of useless filler.

That young lady teacher was pretty awesome the other day... I think she got to the level after $125,000 (250k ?) and it seemed pretty ridiculous hard.

She had to play tic-tac-toe using yellow and white colored ping pong balls, bouncing them off a table to 9 cups filled with water. She has to alternate every turn (which makes it really hard), and is pretty much f'd if she blocks herself.

Perhaps it's a good idea to quit after 125k, though if you lose you only lose 75k (50k is the safety).

Two things I wish they would do:

Once you get past 50k, they show you the task that you have to complete. Then, if you fail at a task, you should get the option of having another one chosen, or retrying the same task. It just seems like too often, someone is going to run into a task they have no chance at (like the one girl with tic-tac-toe beer pong) and we just get to watch them miserably flounder at it 4 times in a row.

I agree completely with you, Zimmer.

Also +infi to watching on DVR. I pound an ep out in ~ 10 min.

One thing that is going to suck is that the tasks become so hard that no one will even come close to the $1,000,000 task. They showed one of the $1,000,000 tasks last night. You have to bouce a quarter into a 5 gallon jug from like 10 feet away. You could probably try that 10,000 times and not get one in.

Beat The Clock was better than this show simply because it didn't have Guy Fieri as the host.

He's not terrible imo, but there are def better hosts out there for a show like this. I kinda hate how he talks all the time while they're doing tasks.

It wouldn't be that bad if it was actually good, interesting talk...

Yeah, the show would benefit greatly from a better host. I like Guy a lot but he seems to be out of his element here. Imo they need someone who will bring an intense, epic feel to the show.
