Dennis Quaid was great as Pauly D with his Halloween costume and his GTF comment.

Why would a really hot/slutty new chic make the other girls jealous? The only guy they want to sleep with is Pauly, and if the chic looks that good pauly is going to hit it. Other than that I don't see much coming from it.

Someone make up some more scenarios where she'd really get on their nerves.

Because she would get more attention from other people. Do you know many girls who don't mind being the ugly friend?

Snooki is the only girl in the house that is a legit ugly girl. Jwow is still going to get tons of attention from guys (not that she wants it) when she goes out. Sam doesn't care as long as Ron is nearby.

Even Angelina could pull guys. So to your answer your question, No. But I don't think 'attention' is going to matter much.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I disagree with every one of your points, but it's not that big of a deal.

Suffice it to say, all of these people want attention, and lots of it. Having a new person around who would command more attention (especially favorable attention) would probably bum them out.

lol

I'm not saying they aren't all hungry for attention. I'm saying that the guys in the house giving a newer hotter girl more attention than the old girls won't mean anything.

Do you think Sam is going to care if 'New Girl' has more convo's with Vinny/Pauly/Mike than she does? No. Do you think Sam would care if the guys thought she (new girl) looked better, and showed her a lot of attention bc of that? No.

The only girl I can see even caring is Snooki. But that's bc she's boot, and thinks she deserves better than what she gets. And Sam would care if somehow the new chic looks at or talks too Ron.

But your whole 'attention' won't really mean much while they're on the show.

You obviously don't know women then. Women get jealous over stuff way smaller than this.

Really? This is some sad stereo typing if you truly think most women are like this. 2 of the 3 women in the house are in a relationship. Jwow hasn't shown a hint of hooking up with a guy other than that Pauly incident, so what the hell is she going to be jealous of? Bigger breasts? Not likely Sam stays in her room sleeping while Rons @ work (and sometimes while hes at the club) and when them two go out she's stuck to his side.

Snooki could get jealous pretty easily, so I won't argue her side. So I don't see any of the chics getting jealous over a sexual attraction to her, or too much attention being paid to her due to that.

I could however see the guys get jealous. Sort of like Mike after sam & ron hooked up. Or when vinny & ramona were.

Scherer,

There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, bitches be crazy.

Seriously though, there would easily be more tension and jealousy if a hot girl came in, Snooki would call her a slut for sure. JWOWW would want to fight her because Snooki feels threatened by her, or in some made for emTV moment, would probably hook up with the girl. Sammi would 100% go into an advanced version of depressed, insecure, jealous Sammi the moment Ron says "Welcome to our humble abode." Angelina would say how unclassy the girl is which translates to "she is so much hotter than me."

I agree with the others who say it will be jealousy over the attention, I don't think it will even need to be the guys hitting on her just the fact that the hot girl would be the it girl in the house.

Edit: Sam would be the main cause of the problem, not out in the open like Snooki would probably be, but she would beat Ron to death with comments or the girls if she made up with them. I'll look for the cringe worthy scene where she pleads with Ron to change his work schedule because he is working with Jenni and she made a comment in the living room. Sammi is crazy.

Edit 2: Here it is the clip.

Not sure why you're getting hung up over the people in the house. Pretty sure I made it clear that the primary reason would be that the new girl would get more attention from people outside of the house. You know, like when they all go out somewhere as a group. You know, like every night.

I understand that some of them have boyfriends. Or "boyfriends". I understand that in an ideal world those people wouldn't be jealous of the attention that other people get. **** aint like that in the real world, tho.

Crow is right. But I think we're going through withdrawal symptoms of not having JS on every Thursday Night. So thinking of possibilities made sense.

Not really relevant to the thread's discussion of the TV show, but not sure where else I'd post it, and too lazy to look around for one, so what the hell.

Was at an annual charity dinner last night in Staten Island, NY (I live here). Upscale event with a fairly well-to-do crowd to raise money for a local set of schools that teach autistic children (my g/f is a teacher at one of these and tutors this type of child on the side). Stuff like cookware, sports memorabilia, etc gets auctioned off, both live and silent, to raise money.

They have minor celebs every year to take the mike and say a few words, and be the auctioneer during the Live auction. Ex NFL QB Ray Lucas goes every year, Sean O' Hara of the Giants goes, Jim Watkins the NYC newscaster, Teddy Altas, James Gandolfini etc. Most of these people get a decent amount of attention, applause, and pose for pictures and autographs.

Angelina from the show was there last night. She dates some early-30-ish white businessman looking guy that she was at a table with. During opening remarks, when introduced as the night's celeb, a number of people flat-out booed and another huge number were completely silent. Cheers were mild. Throughout the evening, people made a marked effort to actually avoid the girl as they walked around. A handful posed for pictures.

When it came time to auction off, the girl basically screeched into the microphone and sounded like a zombie. I don't even remember what was being bid on but it didn't fetch a ton. (This is in stark contrast to a guy like Lucas, who walks around fist-bumping people, offering props if they'll up their bid, yells, tells off color jokes, and manages to bleed $2000 out of someone for something of which the net worth is about $400).

Girl wore a black dress and admittedly looked pretty good. I'm sure people online can slam the looks of the people on the show all they want because it's easy to do that on a message board after watching MTV, but let's be honest, if you were in college out at a bar or whatever you'd obviously give it the once-over.

Have you ever actually been around women? It's pretty close to unieversal, and certainly applies to club-going women like these who are obsessed with getting attention.
