yeah Frank is great, but iirc in the past he was a more realistic rich guy with an unspecified amount of money (in the ~millions), who spent it extremely frugally at times, especially on others. but now he's a guy with infinity $$$ who is willing and able to make anything happen for the lulz? ok, kinda silly but whatevs i guess.

Hey man that's what happens when the government bails you out, you lose all respect for money and now we get to watch Frank ball outa control.

The fact it was ridiculously over the top is what made it so funny, they were willing to go to such an elaborate and expensive ruse just to mess with Dee.

I thought it was pretty consistent with Frank's character. When it comes to clowning someone, he's willing to go all out. When it comes to treating people nicely or helping them, he's the cheapest mofo on the planet.

I kind of gave up on this show in S7, then decided to catch up awhile back. I wasn't totally thrilled about it then, but this episode gives me some hope.

I thought the episode was meh until the payoff, then BOOM instantly became great. Probably my most surprised laugh at the show in awhile. One of the shows biggest problems in past the few seasons is we are all already in their degenerate groove, so its hard for anything to take us by surprise. I genuinely wasn't expecting the result that happened.

Season 7 had a few great episodes.
Jersey shore is classic.

Show has been really hit or miss the past 3-4 seasons, although i thought last season was the best one in a while.

Great premiere ep. I was enjoying the ep and getting ready to cringe at Dee bombing in horrific fashion and then they spring the great ending on me. The ending allowed me to laugh at Dee but not really feel as bad/cringe as I would've if the expected bombing happened. The Dennis scenes are funnier in hindsight knowing that he wasn't in on anything.

Dee: Where am I ?

Frank: Home, where I learned the truth about despair, as will you. There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth... Hope. Every man who has ventured here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy... So simple... And like shipwrecked men turning to sea water from uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope. So, as I terrorize Gotham, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe they can survive so that you can watch them clamoring over each other to "stay in the sun." I'm not with everyone else that the show has declined as much as people are stating.

I think for a 9 season show the average quality has held up tremendously well compared to most shows that age.

Finally, a fantastic episode.

The bit where frank draws his piece in 0.1 seconds never gets old to me.

I think both episodes were really solid. I generally find that the episodes written by the original guys or davis hornsby are of higher quality. Also I think I like Dee a lot more than most of you. Kaitlin Olson is great and adds a lot to the ensemble. I was pleased both eps were Dee heavy, I think she has been under utilized throughout the series.

Best scene in either ep was Charlie shooting mac as he zig zagged towards him, I rewatched that several times.

Also some of you were saying you thought it had been cancelled, just fyi it has already been renewed through season 10.

I forgot about this. Uncle Jack is so funny in small doses, the hands obsession is hilarious.

I like Dee a lot too and that guys hands were really small.

I loved both eps so far.

I have never not enjoyed an episode of always sunny. New season is awesome so far
