Lol. That was Courtney Gains, also of 80s fame. Was in the burbs, can't buy me love, etc.

Really loved the ep. Watched it twice.

Never seen ski school and liked the episode. Best of this season IMO.

For anybody that hasn't seen it, you should watch the South Park episode Asspen, all the way back from 2002.

One of my favorite all time SP episodes, and they nailed the spoof as well.

He should've said with the same conviction as when he said "You **** on my house." That he did in Can't Buy Me Love.

Thanks for that post/info cotton hill. I sort of figured that was the premise however not growing up in that time and actually experiencing viewing these kind of movies I can't appreciate this episode like you can.
I'm 43 and loved every second of this episode. Top 10 of all time for me. I hated the frank ending as well, but rest of it was gold.

When I think of that episode, I think of it more as making fun of timeshares than the movie satire angle, but maybe that's just me.

I'm glad people are piping up as liking this episode. I wasn't going to watch it due to all the hate here, but i was bored and figured how bad could it be. Granted i'm in my 40's and thus got the 80's references but it was fantastic. The montage with Charlie banging the prostitute was hysterical, the goofy smile, he killed it.

To give some context to the younger folks, I remember renting Hot Dog(?) on VHS (an almost exact copy of this plot) with my friend when I was 15ish. We knew there was nudity and thought we got it past my buddy's mom, but she insisted on being in the room while we watch an actually stood up with a blanket and covered the tv during the topless parts. Of course this didn't deter us as we waited until the next day and watch it again while she was out. </nostalgia>

Yeah people in their 20's have no idea the work you had to put into seeing boobs when you were in your teens before the internet.

A random 5 second topless scene in some movie was enough to warrant watching the whole thing whenever you saw it on.

I must have watched the shower scene in Stripes 1000 times as a kid.

Of course spying on people isn't a prank.

Sticking your dick through the peep hole, on the other hand, is where the hilarity really starts!

SP did a common tv show storytelling device of an A plot and a B plot. the kids did a ski movie spoof, while the adults did the timeshare thing. sunny did a full half hour

Dennis reading his book to the lady got a laugh out of me, as did the initial Charlie chalk/Tums conversation.

This is how I felt.

Can some Sunny history buff tell me what is the link between Frank and the Nazis? They had the flag on the first episode of this season and the WW2 Germany flashbacks in this one. I have missed several seasons of the show so I'm probably missing some backstory here.

i believe frank's dad fought for the germans in ww2. there was an episode where he passed away and the gang acquired his dog painting done by hitler.

Nah that's one of the first episodes, the gang finds a dead guy and he's Barbara's father not Frank's.
