Idiotic Jeopardy wagers (no spoilers before 6 EST) - Page 459

Last Thursday (10/15)

8,000 vs 11,400 and 8,000 gets a DD at the end. Wagers 4,000. Jfc man what’s the point. If you miss it’s over. Playing for 2nd is for wusses.

Then onto FJ

2,000 (0)
11,400 (8,700)
12,000 (10,801).

Why second would every bring third into play is unknown. 8700 is so random. Def close enough to bet small.

I was thinking that too. Seems like a number of not-too-difficult questions go unanswered (or is it ...answers go unquestioned?)

I felt that it was just topics on which I happened to know something. Now that others have noticed it too, I guess not.

Damn. I fell way behind on Jeopardy. Have 90-something episodes of Trebek on my DVR and will be enjoying them all. At least he outlasted Sean Connery.

I tried out for Jeopardy in 1994 when I was 20 years old. Alex was there and took time to answer questions from the prospective contestants. He really seemed like a class act and obviously was very passionate about the show. Not gonna lie, it brought a few tears this morning when I heard the news...
