Ouch on Asian guy. Must have had around 10k in misses. Doubled up to 7200 on TDD and was at 2400 three clues later.

I always enjoy the show when FJ is a triple stumper that I get right.

Thought tonight was super easy, very surprised it wasnt a triple-get, shocked it was as triple stumper. Doesnt everyone know the origin of the nobel peace prize?

What exactly was the clue?

God what is wrong with the current champ? 200, 800 and 1000 clues left in jeopardy and dd is still out and she asks for the 200. She also buzzed in on a 2k clue with the game like $400 from locked up and didn't 100% know the answer. Less bad but still pretty ridiculous.

Also risks $500 on DD with massive lead.

Another overweight female who doesn't know how to play the game but has decent knowledge and buzzer speed, and has three wins against soft competition. How much longer before j555 is in full crush mode?

Didn't watch yet, but...was it after a pause where it was clear nobody else was buzzing in? Otherwise why let somebody else get it if you think you know the answer? 2nd getting it right would obviously kill her runaway just as easily as her getting it wrong.

Second had just buzzed in incorrectly.

The (ex) champ really loved to get to the 1600 clue and then go away from a category. So dumb.

"Because of the "handsome gentlemen," Thursday's Jeopardy episode has been viewed more than 80,000 times on YouTube. To put that into perspective, Wednesday's episode barely broke 800."

I didn't know Jeopardy was available on Youtube.

Nobody mentioned the 1k bet from the leader in FJ in a close game.

And how do 2/3 miss the easiest FJ in history?

Wow, that was just awful all the way throughout.

[WANDERINGBLATHER]

ringing in with no clue as to answer and then umming or making horrible guess
DD wagers were way too conservative
Dude answering his DD without thinking about it at all (sadly this would probably happen to me)

Champs bet was suspect-1400 gets you to a tie w 2nd and still wins a stumper
2nd-if you are going for it to cover 3rd, you might as well shove, but meh not horrible although in this case dumbazz in 1st would have lost if you shoved and you both got it right so why not just go for it? (F the 2nd vs 3rd consolation $1000 equity I say)
1st-wtf. You didnt even cover a shove by 3rd.

Holy hell; the week of annoying contestants!

I just watched four straight episodes at 10:30 on a Friday night, just begging that I'd see someone knock off Jennifer. Holy F was she unbearable, starting with her first game, when she was giggling throughout the reading of everyone's Final Jeopardy responses because she knew she had won.

Also, LOL at Jesse doubling up on Asian cities. Rigged.

I want Alison back. She was cute, charming, smart, and not an insufferable jackass.

Its even worse, didnt look at 2nd's bet closely, she didnt even cover 3rd's all-in-bet. Off by 1000. (6600x2=13200, 2nd bet 5001 for 12201).

Do we need a name for the bad FJ bet trifecta?
trierribetting?
trigedy?
triple dumber?
(alex) Tribad?
The Three Dumbigos?
and of course, Dumb, Dumber, and Dumberer

(wow this episode really has me on tilt)

She was an idiot, not even close to Julia. Julia wasn't afraid to pick the big dollar clues late in the game like this girl was. Julia would have gotten Nobel and Agatha Christie. I don't know how you miss Agatha Christie on that clue. They all missed the Marx Brothers. Just an awful game.

Anyone catch that right before the commercial break leading into FJ, Alex said something along the lines "Looks like someone isnt too happy, we'll figure that out during the break" and then nothing.

18,800-12,801
15,800-3,000
7,300-3,000

2nd should have gone smaller and kept the lockout of 3rd, very small likelihood first is going to bet very small.
3rd should either just shove or (I prefer) bet 0 and hope for the triple stumper.

What ended up happening?

2nd and 3rd both horrible bets. 3rd should bet no more than 1300 if he is really going for the triple stumper, but of course it shouldn't matter as he is drawing dead to 2nd's (unlikely wagering savvy).

And wtf is the point of 2nd's 3k bet? unlikely that 1st is standing pat in this situation, and even worse, it allows 3rd into the game.

PS: what was the significance/relevance of Alex's comment?

It seemed like there was going to be a score correction, was expecting it on the Mediterranean/Aegean Sea question. But, nothing ever happened, maybe someone just really didn't like the 1970 Movies category, which turned out to be lol easy.
