Hey, at least we got to see Dana walk to her room and say "I'm alright, really, I am" again.

Claire Danes continues to be amazing in the perfect role and is carrying the show. I expect the scenes between Carrie and the new villain will be riveting.

Saul's speech rejecting dinner with the elite officials and his new boss was terrific. The hunting party reminded me of an actual hunting accident during the Bush administration where somebody accidentally shot someone else. I forget the details.

I must have missed some news about Damien Lewis not being unavailable to be in scenes with any of the rest of the main cast. It is like his character is a ghost .

BTW who really did the big CIA bombing anyway..no hints in the show?

When the skinny Iranian mentioned "all the yoga" at the very end. Did he mean he knows she used the yoga to do something else, or was he just letting her know they know what she is doing, but actually didn't know she left the yoga place?

I think it's just him taunting Carrie with the fact that they've had eyes on her. But we're supposed to be unsure, they want you to chew on it all week.

Hate how people refer to this ep as filler. The subtlety of this episode is what made it great and what Homeland is best at. I think i prefer the way Dana's storyline ended rather than the kid going full on crazy and trying to kill her. The payoff of Sauls scenes ending with his speech was great and the Carrie stuff was more believable than the nonsense we got last week.

but in fairness i was thinking saul would go absolutely batsH*t crazy when he saw his wife with the frenchy. i thought he would hit her.
This is amazing, just a tremendous amount of misogyny per word. The women characters need to either die or take off their shirts, the show should just follow the male character around. And speaking of Saul, man what tremendous restraint he showed! He didn't even beat his wife this episode, amazing!

The news story only happens because Carrie is a pain in the ass to the FBI guy though

Yeah, this. I mean, a lot of it is filler, but a show has to have it, and the writers not turning every string into this whole ordeal to wrap it up is great.

I hope Dana commits suicide within the next episode or two. I also hope she shows her tits before she offs herself.

I am pretty sure I had this exact post thought out in my head at one point but just couldn't pull the trigger on posting it.

Wow. I clicked on this thread as well as the MMA thread. I thought I was on the latter, then heard about people wanting to off himself, I was like "WTF?!?!"

Sorry, as you were.

Still think this is the best drama currently airing on tv right now. I'm not caught up on Boardwalk Empire though so that may be better.

It's definitely been better this season. Masters of Sex is kicking serious ass. Plus there are lots of naked ladies.

I think the two Showtime shows are pretty close so far. The last Masters of Sex episode was really good.

Boardwalk is the same old same old.
