Well I don't read any if those.

Yeah, I thought I was agreeing with you. Was speaking generally at any rate, it's something I notice more in threads about the heavy dramas with lots of symbolism.

Ok, what the **** did I just watch? Worst episode of TV I've seen in the last year. Who the **** approved that? Did Lena really write that? How did the DP not puke after shooting Lena naked for 3/4 of the episode.

Jesus christ.

That's was a hard episode for a male viewer to enjoy or identify with.

Still love the show, but yeah that sucked.

Also, my complaint isn't, "WTF why can't we see hot ass Marnie omggg" or anything along those lines. It was just weak, cliche writing. It was boring as hell, and it was completely irrational. First off, the guy would have recognized her from the coffee house he was at seemingly minutes earlier, yet he asks, "Do I know you?" Come on now. Then, he invites her in, instead of first hearing what she wanted to say. I'm sorry, there is NO ONE who would do that. It has nothing to do with trust or safety, it has to do with normal human behavior. Then, of course, we put up with excessively long foreplay/sex scenes with strange dialogue. The begging scene was strange and lame.

Ugh, this whole ep. good God man.

Has Marnie shown her tits yet? Lena dunhams upper arm fat is supremely tilting, don't think a girl that young should be so out of shape imho

Marnie won't be getting nude. Something apparently in her contract, also she's the daughter of Brian Williams from NBC. Not sure how much that actually has to do with it, but perhaps.

Surprised by the hate, I thought this episode was mostly awesome. Hannah's monologue towards the end though kind of made me want to throw something at my TV though.

I thought it was entertaining. Wouldnt watch again but it was funny at the end where the dude was into her and bam she just talked and talked and you could see the gears grinding in his head like, "how do I get her out of here now?" Definitely an odd ep tho.

That was terrible. Dunham should have her Golden Globes rescinded.

Ah yes, the dreaded bottle episode. I did enjoy the end - Hannah making herself toast, reading the paper, and fantasizing about having that life, then leaving (although a bit on the nose to have her throwing out the garbage). I think it was meant to have dream-like qualities, but overall I'm not sure it hit the home run it thought it did.

That seemed like Lena Dunham trying to do an episode of Louie. Not sure if she pulled it off or not.

Also I find it really difficult to believe that that dude would sleep with Hannah even with her throwing herself at him. Rich super good looking doctor would throw up in Hannah's mouth when she sexually assaulted him and then go bang someone who weights less than he does and doesn't have man-boobs to rinse the horror out of his brain.

By far the worst episode of the series. Awful.

I was behind and just watched the last 2 eps back to back. I agree that last week's ep was one of the best but I enjoyed this one a lot, too. Can't say I'm surprised there was a lot of hate, though.

Lol, your first post was the last of the thread when I hit reply and I almost posted that I was surprised nobody commented on this (I completely disagree! but I thought it would be prevalent itt).
