That was damn good. It’s odd though... it says “Finale”. Not series or season, so I’m guessing they’re leaving it open or setting up a new series entirely but aren’t saying until after it airs.

The note at the end was a bit too clean but I can work with it

And how the hell do they wrap this up?? I was expecting tonight’s kill next week.... let’s hope they stick the landing this time lol

re:Fringe, Walter was the best. I would watch a spin off of just him for sure.

I remember season 1 not being very good, hopefully it gets better.

S4 of Goliath was pretty good. It never captured the magic of S1 which was some of the best lawyer drama I've seen, but it always kept being a good show. S1 is the best and S3 is the weakest, not sure how I rank S2 & S4. I think I like S4 more since it's a bit less crazy than S2 & 3 were. Also really enjoyed the case of S4 (it involves opioid manufacturers).

Been binge-watching a couple of older shows during the holiday break, The Americans being one which I had not seen yet.

I am enjoying it. It is a pretty traditional television show, could almost have aired on one of the big 3 networks if not for a bit of nudity here and there. But I would say the acting and writing are elevated from the usual network TV show.

Also rewatching Southland which is one of my favorite cop shows ever and is criminally underrated imo.

Loved S1, gave up on S2, felt like a totally different show.

Both are good. The Americans gets better as it goes and finishes strong.

I finally finished the final season of The Americans last month and agree it finished real strong. I also binged the last Se of Goliath also recently and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Southland is also one of my fave cop shows, along with The Shield. I started re-watching both a couple months ago but got distracted by a bunch of other newer stuff and need to try and get back into them (but can't do The Shield until I decide to renew Hulu again next time).

I watched the first few minutes of the last Goliath and it didn't look very good, maybe I will have to go back and try again.

Yeah, the Ep1 intro dream sequence put me off at first, and there are dream sequences in each episode that are odd (but make more sense as the season goes on), but the bulk of the season is not dream sequences and it's worth the watch IMO.

Goliath’s last season is really good in the back half!!

I watched The Americans when it aired but stopped in, I think, season 3. I’ve heard the last season is on par with a lot of the great so I might have to revisit soon!

The last 4 episodes of The Americans on IMDB in order, 9.3, 9.1, 9.5, and 9.8 on finale.

Yea, that would probably be fine, whenever I do something like that, I at least watch the season finale of the season before, not that I remember anything specific from it, but you might learn a lot of what you missed and catch up.

They might have a recap at the beginning of the first episode of the final season, or you could search YouTube for recaps of the seasons you didn't finish also.

"The Cleaning Lady" on Fox tonight is so unrealistic and stupid. I will probably keep watching though. lol
At least it's in Las Vegas.

The last episode of John Wilson on HBO was also in Vegas if Vegas is a thing you like.

Personally, I wish they'd bring back the police documentary show "Vegas Strip" or some variation of it.

The final episode of Goliath really was something special. Amazing court scenes. Kinda made me sad that the show didn't have more episodes like that, even .

Same here I love a good courtroom scene.

I used to enjoy the David Kelley show "The Practice", had some pretty compelling courtroom scenes as I remember.

Started Yellowjackets last night with the wife. I thought she was going to be skeeved out by the cannibalism angle but she said she was hooked at the end of E1.

I lost interest half way through episode 5.
