2 part series Tonight and Tomorrow on Oxygen.
Aaron Hernandez Uncovered, should be pretty interesting since that was one messed up story that happened.

they cook meth on the very first episode. a man's body is dissolved in acid in episode 2.

i'm not singling you out because i see this all over the internet, but this idea that breaking bad is a slow burn is one of the stupidest things ever.

The start is fine, but it gets slow a bit later. I actually gave up on it in season 2 because it looked like it was going nowhere. Picked it up again later.

watching them figure out how to deal with body and the guy tied up in the basement is great! one of the better parts of the whole series.

Yeti is 100% right on this, and master is wrong.

Started watching it's always sunny in philadelphia, cant find it anywhere better than 360p, but i enjoy it so far, only 2 eps in.

Also the leftovers 3 episodes in, its okay, but i have read such good things about season 2 so im going to stick with it.

I don't think Breaking Bad is slow moving or bad/meh at the start. However I do think it may be the only show in history which improves with each season.

I'd suggest that Black Sails improved in every season.

The Breaking Bad issue is because one of master's statements is true, and the other is not.

This part is true. Lots of people are sucked in from the start, but he's addressing Grue's comment and those people who aren't. For those people, if you stick with it, it does get better, and you may get sucked in later.

Nyc and Chris and others commented on this, and most of us have seen the graphs of improving ratings by episode over each season.

This is the part that's not true, that Yeti addresses.

With all of the above in mind, I agree with almost every single BB post on this page.

I think Hulu added it’s always sunny

there's a valid comment to be made about the fact that early on the show is very good but not elite, or at least certainly not GOAT-calibre. this can be seen by looking back at the old threads.

nowadays of course it's essentially impossible to start watching breaking bad without knowing what you're getting into. which is why it's so silly when people act like it's a slog to get through the early stuff, given a) it's not slow at all, and b) they are good and you know it's going to get better.

halt and catch fire got better and better too by the way!

star treks, next generation, ds9, voyager, and enterprise all got better over time.

the original series started off elite af. i mean think about others shows that came out at the same time! so incredibly inferior

I watched BB seasons 3-5 first, then went back and watched 1 and 2. Doing it that way I thought season 1 was the best. I felt like the lack of structure in the meth operation in season 1 is what put it above the other seasons.

High Maintenance is the best show currently on TV (even though there is only 1 ep left this season.) if you happen to have missed it I am jealous.

partially true

didn't really notice it until i re-watched the series, but there are a few lengthy stretches where there isn't much "action"

which is completely intentional, but probably what ppl are referring to

High Maintenance is probably the funniest show on TV now.
The web series are great. Same thing as HBO show except 1 story per show instead of two and some of the TV characters are introduced there. If you have access to HBO the web stuff is ondemand there.

Finished Sneaky Pete S2

Spoiler:
S1 was better but still super easy watch. I was about to get super annoyed when it seemed they were gonna pretend Pete (Marius) was part of the family still with no one knowing but glad it was misdirection. Still think S3 could be great.
