It started off incredibly cliché (Robin Hood). Got a little better once the real plot established but still very predictable - big reveal at the end was the most obvious ever. Very mediocre fantasy (low magic) and Kurt Sutter so I'd expect it to be pretty good for about a season and then meander in circles, resolving nothing for 3-4 seasons before fizzling out.

Katey Sagal as the only T&A in the whole show is pretty unforgiveable.

Yeah. It's not looking terribly promising. I will give it some time, but like others have said, it is a bit predictable.

I wasn't super impressed either, but I'll probably give it another episode or two to see if it goes anywhere interesting.

Another upcoming show in the same sort of medieval England genre that looks sort of interesting is The Last Kingdom on BBC America. I guess it's based on a series of books I've never read. Starts October 10.

Anybody watching Public Morals on TNT? I think the story suffers being crammed into 6 episodes. But I'm a sucker for noir crime and I love all of the classic cars in the show.

Looking forward to this too. Set in late 9th Century so it has lots of Vikings which everybody loves. Never even heard of the books before I heard about the series.

It's fun in a popcorn movie sort of way, some of the acting is lol bad. Strictly in the guilty pleasure category.

It'd be much better with Strike Back level of nudity/violence.

Mr Robinson is Cancelled. It wasn't anything special but it wasn't horrible.

I see Sept. 27th is the Premiere and the Finale of CSI.

I'm 4 episodes in and am reasonably enjoying it. I agree the cars are boss. The car Brian Dennehy's character arrives at funeral in in esp04 is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

so absurd that they can show the insanely graphic violence of the bastard executioner on basic cable but some titties are out of the question.

that was some sick ****.

It will be super hard to get through the pilot for me unless people tell me they step up hard. Beginning is terrible and bland

I think I just quit on Married in the middle of the next-to-last episode of season 2. I just don't give a **** what happens to these people. Not sure why I even kept going this long.

Minority Report was pretty weak. I will check out a few more episodes tho.

Life in Pieces was Ok, not nearly as good as the previews made it out to be, but probably a decent show to keep watching.

Blindspot has me for a few episodes at least unless it gets super awful, but entertaining so far.

I'm rewatching Olive Kitteridge cause it won a lot of Emmys. It's still very good and still unbelievably depressing. Although once you get the idea of what Olive is like, she's almost hilarious.
