Discounting shows where they speak English and/or that are American-produced (Top of the Lake, Narcos, Mr Inbetween), here are some great foreign ones:

Gomorrah (it's seriously really good, just takes a while to get going)
Le Bureau (elite show, loved by 2p2)
Les Revenants (S1 epic, S2 bleh)
Bron (The Bridge, original Swedish version, I think it was this that kickstarted the nordic noir boom?)
Money Heist is entertaining but honestly not very good. The latter seasons are borderline comedy in their terribleness.
Dark seems to be another show that's highly acclaimed, but I haven't seen that one.

Gomorrah and Le Bureau I think are must-see tv for anyone with half a tastebud.

edit: Sucks that both Gomorrah and Succession (the latter only for the season) will be gone within 10 days

La Brea shouted out LOST again in episode 7

They had to blow something up and he said “Remember how they opened the hatch in LOST”

The show is certainly a descendant of LOST. It’s cool that they show reverence.

I am not really liking La Brea, it did get renewed for season 2.

I’m not sure I’ve been interested in a network TV show in 15-20 years. If I see a show is on network I usually default to: it probably sucks

La Brea sucks. I’m also enjoying it. Some of it has been richer than expected. I also cannot believe how poor the CG is when theyve thrown an animal out there.

It seems to me like they have a direction for the show planned out. There’s also time travel and weirdness baked into the show so almost anything could happen

Just finished the season. Im surprised it was only 10 episodes. Maybe they werent confident in it enough to make more right away.
