I don't think I'd quite call Mormont's death "off-camera"...but Robert tho.

Why is it Daenarys Stormborn of House Targaryen btw and not Daenarys Targaryen? Where does the Stormborn come from?

I respect this dude Berric's heart, but lol @ sentencing the Hound to a trial by combat and then volunteering for it. Now that we know Thoros is a priest for the LoL (like Mel), can't wait to see what tricks he's able to conjure up.

How long has Varys had custody of the sorcerer?

If it's recent, how long will he hold onto him?

Not sure why you call that off camera..

Last episode, when Jilly (Sam's "girl", Craster's wife/daughter) had a boy, I predicted that Sam would kill Craster soon, as his first act of courage. Then this happens lol.

Matter of fact, I've always wondered why nobody killed Craster before. He's just one man, and his wifedaughters don't seem to think much of him.

It seemed to me like he just got him. Hence his talking about having to wait/have patience to get revenge. No clue what he's gonna do with him, but it certainly won't be pleasant for that guy I'd imagine.

there is a book answer to this, but the show has given no explanation as of yet.

Stormborn is like her cognomen, like William the Conqueror of House Something

Woah, I was just watching this episode, and they show a scene where Ned tells Berric Dondarion (with more hair and more eyes) to bring the Mountain to justice. So the Brotherhood without Banners has not been around for very long?

I'm a book reader so I will spoil this, even though what I say is based solely on the show:

Spoiler:
craster is important to the night's (knights?)watch because of his information on wildling goings on. That's originally why they stop there. I assume it's also a good place to rest from the cold + get some food maybe

Seems like he was just opening up a crate that he's very recently had shipped over from Essos.

Yea, but does any other character have this? I mean they don't say Jamie Kingslayer of House Lannister, it's still Jamie Lannister, the kingslayer.

brotherhood has only been around since joffrey took office. events went down like this:

1. catelyn takes tyrion prisoner, incorrectly thinking he was behind bran's attempted murder.

2. tywin sends mountain to raid/burn house tully villages for revenge (catelyn's maiden name is tully)

3. ned declares tywin and mountain as outlaws for pulling that ish, and sends men to go arrest mountain.

4. robert dies, joffrey takes throne, situation flip flops now that lannisters are running the show - the men ned sent are now declared to be the outlaws

5. the men figure 'well, we're outlaws now, can't really go back home' so they just decide to use their skills to f with the lannisters from here on out

and to confound things more, beric ('hood leader) was played by a different actor in his small season 1 scene. and the mountain was played by a different actor in s2 than he was in s1, also.

God damn spoiler tags, how do they work? Luckily the above is not a spoiler, I was just trying to be cautious cause I've read books. I will try to not post itt again sorry errybody
04-22-2013 , 12:27 AM
oh and in the Brotherhood scene i was half expecting Arya to actually fight The Hound there, with the Lord of Light intervening and saving her or something

i mean The Hound can't just slaughter her, so...

worked out a little differently, lol

Gizmo: missing an L on the 1st tag, still time to edit it

also it's not really a spoiler at all
04-22-2013 , 12:30 AM
I just didn't want to ruin anything with my giddiness
04-22-2013 , 12:31 AM
Gizmo, ty for sucking at spoilers and effectively ruining the entire series for me.

On a serious note though:
Thread PSA: Would be greatly appreciated if those that quite a few of us have on ignore (Aegon, Freakin, etc.) aren't quoted ITT. Thanks.
