definitely seems like tywin set up the westerling thing. or they realized the huge opportunity it presented and then informed tywin.

in the show jeyne doesnt belong to a house so she has no reasons to do it other than her own gain.

Ok I give up

have you read the theory that says jeyne was with tywin all along?

can't find it atm

not sure what you are looking for senor
05-09-2013 , 03:18 PM
i dont know if theres enough info to prove either way. in the books definitely convinced it was a tywin plot or made into a tywin plot early on though.

OMG I would laugh so so so hard if show Jeyne makes the GOAT heel turn at the RW. Would be AMAZING.

Hahahaha, a big theory killed because a character's hips were written as narrow by accident.

only thing I didn't like was the LOLve potion, even with the witch background.
but hey, if they can give a guy a ruby to turn him into somebody else...
The only reason I say love potion is because when Kevan Lannister is talking about Sybell's family history he SPECIFICALLY SAYS that everyone around Lannisport used to go to Maggie the Frog for love potions 'and the like.' He could've said a billion other things she made but GRRM wrote love potions so I think that's a serious hint that one was used on Robb.

I knew of this and meant to put it in my original post. I think this is just bull****. There's no rule that says he has to tell the truth. To say anything else or evading the question would make it super obvious that she's not the real Jeyne. There's no reason to take what he says as gospel.

I don't even think it's questionable, he definitely had a hand in it. The couple paragraphs between Tyrion and Tywin where Tyrion says Tywin is remarkably calm about the whole situation and how Tywin says sometimes the fools are the smartest people in the room is clearly referencing that Tywin set the whole thing up and he has the whole thing planned. He didn't just luck into it. This makes me think that Roose Change is actually real.

Ohhhhh was Maggie that witch that teenage Cercei went to?

edit: ahahahahah I just got the pun in the Roose Change title...A+

talisa is definitely not in on a plan against robb.

If she is they made her scenes absolutely terrible and illogical. (She should want robb to execute karstark, etc.)

BS Report (Bill Simmons) had a recent podcast in part about GOT, Simmons complains about too many characters, hard to follow all random characters. Called this season a transition season but his GOT guy said last year you would call it a transition season before Blackwater.

what roose change?

is that conversation the first time we hear about tywin killing two families? his not being upset is a pretty big observation by tyrion and definitely agree that its a huge hint tywin set it up.

the other one is that greywind cant be around the westerlings because he keeps trying to attack them.

Nah, it makes complete sense. She just had to marry him to do what Tywin wanted. Now she's legit falling in love with him and actually on his side. It would've been too complicated with the mother in on it as well. It'll be way easier to get for the TV audiences this way.
