I really hope zoom is a multi season arc. Let this one just be about closing the rift. For fake science reasons. Apocalypse or whatever.

Zoom is undoubtedly someone from Earth 1. I suspect the way he didn't get caught in the trap will be a reveal too, but his identity will matter.

I think Zoom is Joe from Earth-2. I believe the particle accelerator explosion thingie that Wells caused on Earth-2 killed Iris in that universe (or maybe no Iris and he had a son who he thinks is dead but is really Wally West?) and gave Joe speedster powers. Who knows.

Well he wants to be the fastest. He is probably Ricky Bobby.

I think Zoom's eyes look like Barry Allen's eyes.

That was a grade A episode (#29, Season 2 no. 6) for this show IMO. Not much fluff, had a nice build-up. It was dark, foreboding, and had a surprising ending.

I liked everything until they stopped Zoom but I guess it needed to happen some how.

I thought Zoom looked bigger than the Flash, taller and about 20 some pounds bigger.

i actually loved the flash getting dragged around like that. when he was fighting reverse flash, he may have been inferior but he was still only a step or two behind. this time he wasn't even in the same league. its nice for them to add in a bit of fear that like, the flash could actually die and everyone in the city could be ****ed. everyone is so happy-go-lucky and relaxed most of the time, so its nice to have some real danger for them to worry about

and i love how they think they can protect these side characters. "oh i had iris take the reporter back to her house to keep her safe." yeah, sure.

like zoom could kill all of them in seconds. I'm not sure what he's waiting for, other than he likes to make a show of it. but this should haunt them at every waking moment of their lives

and they should probably upgrade the security at star labs at some point. they supposedly did that at the start of the season but it doesn't seem to be working very well. its pretty essential for them to have one safe space where they can strategize.

just make some titanium door and have it be the only entrance, and it can only be opened with w/e permission. so you can't just run around it with speed, and you can't run through it easily either. until theres a metahuman who can go through walls, this should work pretty well

and also joe should probably start listening to patty at some point. she's basically been right about everything and would be hugely resourceful for the team. i don't even get the reluctance to just letting her know who the flash is. i also never understood why they hid it from iris for so long, but i guess tv shows like to have secrets and reveals of secrets. just put her on the damn task force already

its also great that the police still think their guns are useful on metahumans, and that they have the power to order them around just because they point their guns at them. zoom is dragging the flash around like a ragdoll, and patty yells to put him down. gl with that

The first time I encountered a metahuman, sure. Probably by like the 20th time, and seeing him drag around the flash, I'd give up at that point and find a good place to hide.

Anyone else wondering why a person who can turn invisible needed to fake her own death? She could have just caught a bus to Mexico and become invisible and zoom would never catch her.

Maybe it's the first time she realised she could turn invisible.

Well Flash has already run through walls in the show, so Zoom can probably do it too.
