Let me take it one step further.

What if Zoom, who is no version of Barry, Wells or Henry, used Wells 2 to make the confession video (remember, he has his daughter). Zoom then brought Henry 2 to Earth 1 (maybe he has a non-meta Barry 2 hostage?) and had him 'released' from prison to fool Barry 1. Henry 1 is therefore still rotting in prison.

For what reason though? Who knows

ugh would the showrunners really do that tho?

I mean from basically S01E01 everyone knew Wells was RF. Would they really go with another level 1 twist that Zoom is Barry 2?

This has been great TV but I would expect more

Well Linda Parks was good on Earth 1 and Doctor Light on Earth 2. It does seem to be headed that way.

Also to piggyback in that thought in the flashback episode in season one with Earth 1 Wells before the car accident he was in love and seemed to be a good person overall. Earth 2 Wells not so much.

isnt the obv twist Barry 2 being a super suave dark version of himself (think Steve Urkle alter ego). money on he shows up and gets Iris to crush on him hard making Barry 1 jealous and forcing him to break it off with girl hes with now.

Keep in mind this is the CW not Netflix.

Firstly, there's still no indication that Wells 2 is "evil". I still believe it's a huge red herring and maybe he has some history with Zoom but I think he's still just trying to get his daughter back.

Secondly, if your Earth 2 counterpart is you-opposite, doesn't that mean that some stupid figure like 98% of the population would be murderers and thieves? Your theory doesn't pan out

i know it's my own fault for watching this show, but once again barry couldnt figure out "run up from behind and hit her over the head"

I do find it funny that consistently during the show Barry has no clue how to beat his opponent and it takes his whole team brainstorming to just figure to "use your speed to your advantage". I mean Dr. Light was literally the easiest to take out.

Earth-2 does seem more and more like Earth-3...

Really hoping that Jay pussing out is some kind of ploy on his part, ie; in order to have the ability to investigate Wells and/or Zoom on the sly. Because otherwise it's a bad enough mischaracterization for me to finally pack it in on this show.

Guess nobody caught Caitlin's, "None of us would become evil just because we got powers" line. Earth-2 Caitlin coming soon? Though not going to be right with Ronnie out of the picture...

i think the knife idea posted earlier ITT was better where he can just stab someone in the gut

it does seem curious that he doesn't use weapons. would make his job a lot easier. i suppose that wouldn't make great tv

Yea iirc the Wells teasers started happening pretty early in s1, but for a while all we knew was that he had 'ulterior motives'. I think the Wells = RF theories started appearing very early after episode 1.

The funny thing is he doesn't even need weapons. As I said way back in the first season when he speed force punched a dude it basically made him unstoppable in just about every fight. He can catch bullets and speed of sound sucker punch people in the face, that's pretty much all you need.

At least light bulb girl caught him with an AOE attack, any directed attack should miss him.
