That showdown vs The Mist was the most ridiculous scene I've ever seen on TV.

The best thing about this show so far is that it led me to watch Arrow, which is miles better than this.

It is good enough. I expected it to be cheesy, which it was, but the other aspects are done well. Looking forward to see how it progresses.

Think the point was he knew he was fast enough to dodge his blasts or potentially stop him, but he knew he could escape by making Barry save the passengers.

pretty standard for a guy with technically no super powers

The Rogues in Geoff John's comic book run (who is a writer or something on this shiw) were some of the best comic book villains ever.

Especially the dude who appeared at the end of the episode. He's my personal favorite and I think he's going to come off of John's own pages which has me excited.

im pretty annoyed that he lets people get away all the time

first scene where he gets the guy to the hospital, he could easily either:

- get the guy to the hospital, then come back and take care of the bad guys or
- spend that 2 seconds on stopping all the bad guys and tying them up and then take the guy to the hospital

in the museum, the guy just casual walks away after killing some random

in the end, they let him go with the ice gun wtf??

I think the point was that he was going to pursue the criminals but stopped because he noticed the man got shot. So obviously several seconds pass where he determines the man might die and he needs to help. Sure, he could spend a few more seconds and stop the criminals, but he probably decides that getting the man to the hospital the fastest was most important.

Plus, it's TV. When does the hero ever catch the bad guys in the first act?

also it seems like since he runs at super high speeds he needs to react very fast to obstacles and turns he needs to make. For that reason it seems like it would be reasonable to think that his thought process is X times faster than normal ppl. He should disarm the dudes, tie em up, then go to the hospital. But yea its a tv show based on a comic so i get it

Going after him would break the deal that let him keep his life. Also he was probably really badly injured given the length of time he was blasted by a zero temp ray that would have decimated his body.
