Before the premiere episode this season they interviewed a few current and former cast members about the show heading into its final season. The British lady who was the arsonist actually said something along the lines of, "I'm so happy to be part of a show that people will still be talking about in 100 years."

How bad was this once again. The opening scene was one of the most SOAPish things I've seen in a while.

"Who's gonna take care of Harrisson? WHO?" made me laugh so much. Oh god.

last night had at least 2 cool scenes though imo,

1. Harrison negotiating for x minutes of cartoon time
2. Dexter harpooning that guy through the bed

I don't think this episode was that bad. Nothing too groan-inducing, which is more than we came to expect. The end of the Brain Scooper was way too pedestrian, though. I also hope that the series finale isn't going to be Dexter happily retiring to his day job and handing off the duties of culling serial killers to that rich punk kid.

Michael C Hall deserves an emmy one time for the final season, he has won a golden globe in the past but this time feels different

Meh, smartphones nowadays combine all the information about the contact in one place. It's conceivable that someone would have the full names displayed for everyone when they get a call, regardless of how close they are. And, for a poker reference, in that infamous PAD episode where Phil Gordon saw or didn't see Howard Lederer's mother, Howard had his dad under "Richard Lederer" in his phone.

God, that was bad. It's not even nitpicking to say so, because the major flaw is that we're 8 episodes from the finale and NOTHING INTERESTING IS HAPPENING. Apologies for the caps, but damn, never has a TV show fallen so far from such a great height.

Yeah, I thought someone would say they still needed to get a DNA sample from the dad and then they could use it to match to the son. Then I realized that would be way too smart.

I thought the guy with the killer computer game could turn into something interesting but he got killed off quick.

This is worse than season 6, which was awful, but not so god damn boring.
Seriously, I mostly listened to the show instead of watching it.

Who will bring up Harrison? made me LOL.

Also, when Deb tells Dex that he's responsible for Dad's suicide, couldn't he mention that he killed the nurse who was poisoning Harry and saved his life? I'm pretty sure I know Dexter better than the writers at this point.
