I'm five episodes into the show and confirmed it's surprisingly good. I'm a bit of a sucker for historical dramas, though, and I'm not sure it's for everybody. Some interesting characters, particularly some of the female ones, and the plot and writing are strong. Would have never known it existed if not for this forum.
