That isn't really a fail. Bits like that walk a dangerous line.

Annie's line about Shirley inviting her to a pool party that turned out to be a baptism was so ****ing good.

Shirley's line about trying to sneak her into heaven was even better.

To make another comparison to IASIP, the actors in both are great when they aren't speaking. They never break character and have reactions that enhance whatever the joke being said is even when they are just in the background of the scene (example: Mac dancing along to charlies 8th grade dance in the season 4 finale). It's seems like a really simple concept that all shows would do, but I never notice it much outside of these 2. It may just be that I watch these shows more closely than any other comedies.
This so much. One of my favourite lines in always sunny isn't even really a line. It's the bit in gang solves the gas crisis where dennis says "we mistook your bossiness from braininess." and to the side of him it hits charlie like a brainwave and he turns and goes "that is what happened cracks me up every time.

I'm just past the first commercial break and I was shocked that people weren't talking about it yet. Amazing so far.

I'd pay to have this show on once a week 52 times per year and never be canceled. This episode was just about perfect, though I wish Annie survived longer.

I don't even know what to comment on, but brilliant and flawlessly executed episode yet again. I couldn't stop laughing when Chang busted into the library. Loved the 30 second bit at the end too.

Such a great show.

Best ep?

This show is ****ing awesome. From leaving the door open there wasnt a single joke that wasnt laugh out loud funny.

Also im really glad the longer opening is back.

This show seriously takes parody to a whole knew level. This and the Chicken Tenders ep succeed where so many comedies fail when satirizing film cliches.

Also, the way they handled what would normally a horrid arc in most television shows, Jeff and Britta hooking up, was fantastic. Didn't cringe once.

A ****ing plus. How on earth are they gonna continue this show for more than two seasons (4 at most), tho?
