Best thing about the episode was the Tshirt Abed gave Britta lol..

Apart from that it was meh..

I liked Troy complaining about girls being so un-desensitized.

I missed the opening scene but I thought from the credits until around the midway point it was really good.

I don't think this was bad- it's just that I don't care about Shirley/MJW/Chang in the least. Britta/Troy/Abed was great, Jeff was ok, Annie was MISSING WHAT THE **** COME ON WE NEED OUR ANNIE but the A plot could be the best thing ever and I'm not going to care about it that much because I have no interest in middle aged women and Chang is being super overused.

Kinda surprised I didn't hear any stink anywhere about their blatantly spoiling Catfish, something I really welcomed because the promotion for that movie was so dumb it needed some spite thrown its way.

Stink? No way, I agree with you. That was my favorite part of the episode. Not only was it an awesome joke to come right after Britta said "I ruin EVERYTHING" and Troy goes "Oh, no you don't," but it's Dan Harmon saying "**** Catfish, that movie sucks [it did, kind of] and I'm going to spoil it so you don't waste time and money on that crap."

Ah, but the joke's on him because Catfish 2 is going to feature a character that pretends to be a fan of Community on an internet message board but then when all of his message board pals show up at his Community Fan Convention in Des Moines, they find out that he is actually a fan of Big Bang Theory and they are stuck getting autographs from Jim Parsons.

I laughed a bit when Chang bounded out of the grate in the interrogation room but I think that would have absolutely killed if they hadn't been overusing him so much recently.

I think I like Shirley more then most but she's my least favorite. I also want more from Theo but he's been fairly meh so far, imo.

The people that I know that have seen it have said that the marketing didn't do it any favors, as it makes you think it's a horror movie and thus makes the eventual reveal way more anti-climatic as possible. I halfway wondered if part of it was Harmon actually wanting to help the movie by removing that BS from it.

I liked Chang a lot more when he was awesome in Season one, instead of pathetic in Season 2. El Tigre was way better than what this is he's become

so i turned it off half way through

maybe its just watching parks and rec on the same night, or maybe its just bc it was a chang/shirley ep, but i find myself caring about these characters less and less

This is pretty much the way I feel too. I saw the trailer and thought "wtf does she turn into some alien/monster thing and kill him?" If I were pitched a horror flick and received "Catfish" instead I would be disappointed.

Between you and me, I don't Chang a lot of chicks.

Pretty forgettable episode after a long break, but had some decent lines.

I agree with most others. The Britta/Troy/Abed story was good, but the other was meh. There is a optimal amount of Chang for every episode and it was too much this episode.

Also the dude that played Luka really should have changed his name. Enver Gjokaj has to be one of the worst names in Hollywood. He is a really good actor too.

the only funny part of the whole episode was when Troy said "I know what was that?!?!" or whatever the line was. cracked me up, also I didnt even understand what Britta was doing for most of the episode, it's like someone who never saw her character wrote most of her dialogue.

There was nothing about anything she did that was confusing in the least.

I haven't been really crazy for Chang lately, but I really liked some of his lines last night (pitter patter of little Chinese feet across the tree-tops, etc.). I actually liked him and Jeff in that whole plot. Shirley and MJW didn't do anything funny all episode long, though. IMO he and Rich have brought down their respective episodes a lot.

I don't think i've ever had anybody explain the plot of Catfish to me without spoiling the ending....

FWIW I went into Catfish not knowing a single thing about it, and thought it was pretty fascinating. I guess I lucked out not to see the preview.

MJW has been more than fine imo. I've really liked him. I just can't stand Shirley. I don't really think that's the writer's fault or the actors, they've just created a character that is emblematic of a type of person I cannot stand and I don't ever want the plot to focus on an annoying, gabby middle aged jesus woman. It's like I don't give a **** if the best chef in the world cooked me a green pepper, it's still a green pepper and foul and **** and I don't want to eat it.

Yeah, Chang really blows this season compared to the first. I was hoping he would get an on Campus job so he could have some power over the group and go back to crazy, power tripping Chang.

Also, **** Catfish.
