omgggggg after weeks of telling my friends how good community has gotten they finally watch this weeks episode which was terrible. ughghghghgh not only do i look like an idiot but i don't think they'll be watching again for a while. at least i convinced them to start watching the league.

Alright, semi-grunching since I don't want all the jokes spoiled or anything- I stopped watching this show after the first episode since I wasn't all that impressed. Mistake?

FWIW, comedies I enjoy are Arrested Development, Curb, The Office (US), Always Sunny, South Park, Seinfeld, etc. I also find enough bright moments in How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory to merit watching them every once in a while.

A lot of my favorite shows had awesome pilots.

AD sucked me in immediately. Studio 60 also had a great pilot. 2nd ep was better, but we all know how that ended up. The West Wing was a great pilot.
Californication was awesome. Same with I.A.S.I.P.

I wasn't that impressed with it either. It took me a few episodes to really get into it but now I really <3 it.

the first few episodes are kinda meh and mostly setting up the characters... after the 3rd or 4th episode it started getting deluxe imo

Family Guy had one of the best pilots ever imo. That pilot is in my top 3 FG episodes, although I only like the pre-revival episodes.

Last week's episode was really good. Pepper water was probably one of the funniest moments of the show for me thus far.
