This result was surely for the best, but I'd have strung Star and Dionne up to dry if I was in Lisa's position. It's not like she even had to come up with the material herself. Trumps provided cause, but instead she stuck with "these girls are mean"--like that was ever going to fly.

Lisa was toast either way. Bringing Marlee in to fight for her probably would have gone as well as having Jose fight for David. If you can't defend yourself in the boardroom, you're screwed.

Yup. It always boggles my mind how bad people are at arguing their cases (it also boggles my mind that I watch this show, but that's what I get for being married). Lisa needed to hammer home the point that Star, and to a lesser extent, Dionne, was intentionally creating conflict and making her (Lisa) look bad in front of the team. Lisa was already nervous about being PM, and Star took any opportunity to make things worse. Whenever there was a lull, she tweaked things again to ramp up the tension.


Also, back to the first episode, I had to laugh when Hatch suggested "Penultimate" for the team name.

If your team is a bunch of diva bitches, it's because you are a bad leader. If you are a good leader, you somehow stop it. At least according to Trump-logic.

The women's team is a gigantic bag of dicks. Hopefully the deaf chick goes to the men's team, she's the only reasonable one on that entire team.

Yeah, Hatch lost some points with me for that one. "2nd to last" is not the best team name in the world (even if it is a 2 team competition ).

Star constantly had this look on her face everytime she or Dionne was causing problems for Lisa. Sometimes she was having a hard time not looking like this .

Star seemed to be correct that Lisa didn't have much of a skill set to bring to the show. But facts are, when Star was PM, her team was disorganized. (She also allowed Dionne to gum up the payment process and hold up the line.) And when she was in charge of writing the book, she produced a product that was not age appropriate for the task and required a magnifying glass to read it.

So yeah, I'm going to fire Lisa, but your days are numbered, Star.

Star's days are numbered? Have you not watched this show before? She creates the most drama, therefore she will be around a long time. Simple as that. It doesn't matter how incompetent you are, how terrible of a person you are, if you stir things up and make the show "interesting", you get a free pass.
