Yeah the season is pretty bad, but the hooker was kinda hot.

Only watching it for fun and because it's the final season.

It's too bad they're not leaking every episode instead just a week ahead of time. I really want to get it over with. It's still entertaining, but it's all "been there done that". Now, if Sasha came back, I'd be down for another season.

I mean, it's become quite redundant and sometimes boring, but it's still somewhat entertaining. I'll keep watching as long as they don't put Becka on the ***** TV for more than 30sec.

So far she hasn't been on, and I'm alright with that.

I did like Hank's last line of the episode. Wouldn't be able to quote it exactly (sg about taking it up the a** but keep smiling). It's a bit cliché from him, but I liked it.

There are some funny moments in each episode but between those is so much dead time. The pace of the main story arcs in this season is beyond slow. The hooker episode could have easily been written into the pool party one for example. Worse though, Hank is pretty boring now compared to any season and the Karen storyline can't wrap up well in the remaining time... oh well. Maybe the humor and wild moments can carry enough.

Hank mentioned in a recent episode that there hasn't been a DNA test to check if he's the father and thought it would be hilarious if it turns out not to be his. Don't think this will happen but I'd laugh.

Haha Runkle is masturbating again! So funny! Uh oh Karen is angry that Hank isn't being serious and Stu likes to **** Marcy.

This show is embarrassingly bad.

I like how they obviously don't want Karen in the show (which is a good thing fwiw), so they make the story line about the son and that she is mad at him about it. He's done so many ****ed up things and this is what she is mad at him about? I mean he didn't actually do anything wrong here. Weak way to get her out of the main story line of the show.

Exactly, thought too that her freaking for this was ridic. But now that you mention it, it was probably a trick to get her away from the TV, for our sake.

Now if they could just do that with the rest of the characters.

I think this show still delivers if you can watch it with a right attitude. I'm definitely on the bandwagon until the very end. Hank is such an epic character that as long as the show centers around him it's pretty hard for it to become unwatchable. Runkle and Marcy still deliver too. I hate the son, I somewhat dislike Heather Graham in this too, Chloe's character is woat, and all the other new characters are meh, the tv stuff could be interesting but is poorly executed... but it's all good as long as Hank's around being his usual self imo. The only way this can become unwatchable for me is if Hank goes into some depression over losing Karen mode again. Call me easy to please but I could watch Moody being Moody for another five seasons.

Having that said, this show definitely is the guilty pleasure of my rotation and the only one I'm slightly ashamed to admit I'm still watching.

can definitely relate to that
I just like watching Moody even though the remaining characters are rather bad this season.

What are the other shows in your current rotation?

Not sure if online is still ahead of TV so will use spoiler tags re: episode 8.

Spoiler:
Lol wtf. Maybe I wasn't paying attention but felt like that came completely out of no where.

As above, how it seems they don't want her in the show anymore. Would they actually kill her?

Embarrassing that they had to play one of the biggest clichés in television history.

That was pretty freaking bad, but I'm more pissed about what they'll do with it. It's down to the last few eps and they haven't gone anywhere yet. Rather then walk down the hill towards whatever ending they're aiming for, they decided to jump off of a cliff. A natural progression for Hank to get to... wherever the hell he's going might not be nearly as funny to watch unfortunately.

fwiw, episode 8 doesn't actually air until June 1st, so people should use spoilers. If you have watched the latest available episode on demand, you are ahead of the airdate.

Spoiler:
what a ridiculous ending. This season has been a trainwreck. I guess the writers realized it was a mistake to get Hank/Julia relationship so serious 2/3 of the way through the final season, and had to throw a total curveball 180 to push that arc aside so they can get to the ultimate (and predictable) Hank/Karen reconcile ending.

Dragging out the results of her health for more than the next single episode would be a disaster.

Spoiler:
The show doesn't really work without Karen. Just her presence is important for what she represents for Hank. Regardless, there's only 4 more episodes in the entire series, so this wouldn't really be "killing her off" anyway.
