So sad for Mike
He was fatally wounded from the shot in the car.

Speculation but pretty damn obvious
Spoiler:
Tod's father is a big shot in prison and gonna have to kill the 9 guys on the same day

Mike has been slacking this season in seeing things coming.
I think he may have knew what was coming. He's lost his granddaughter forever, and I think he was at a point where he knew his life was at an end, whether because he'll be on the run forever and never see his family again, or arrested and die in prison, or at the hands of Walt.

No doubt about it.

Mike having to walk away from his grand daughter was quite depressing and sad.

Yeah. To me this just pushed it to #1.

There isn't a TV character ever who will average as much own per ep as Mike.

I thought I heard a camera when Walt and Mike were meeting. Long shots obv imply that.

Opening was amazing. I briefly rooted for Walr.

I felt amazing tension throughout the ep. I was prepared for Walr to try to kill Mike at every step.

Yep.

Also I really love the way they are building Todd's character. I think this might turn into a Gale situation, where Todd does everything fine, works hard, but still isnt Jessie.

This show is giving me crazy amounts of anxiety.

Great episode.

He fell over sideways.

Anyone catch what Walt was rambling about as Mike was dying. PVR switched over to True Blood (stupid ****ing show) at 11:00 and caused me to miss a few seconds of dialog.

Has it been implied that the 9 guys can tie Walt or Jesse to the blue meth? I thought not, and that only Lydia knows of Walt and Jesse af of now?

Mike's death scene was super predictable. They should have done it better and made it a bigger surprise.

edit: The way Mike died was cool and stumbling to the lake and the dialogue, but what was crappy was going to that scene it was 100% in my mind that Mike was dying. Also, Mike not being smart enough to appease Walt and give him 9 fake names? Mike really fell off this season. Meh.

TY, he said something like "I realise now I can get the 9 names from Lydia. I'm sorry Mike..."
Mike then said "Shut up Walter, let me die in peace".

He said that he realized he could have just gotten the names from Lydia and said sorry.

He figured out that he could get the list of names from Lydia and apologized for the confrontation.

I dont know if they can implicitly tie Walt+Jessie in terms of identifying, but they can def give a lot of info that will make it rather easy for them to be discovered.

For whatever reasons, Walt betraying Mike (even before he shoots him) seemed like one of the coldest things Walt has ever done on the entire show.

That moment he looked at the contents of the bag and you know he is going to f- him was very gutwrenching to me for some reason.

Did Mike choose not to kill Walt, or did he just not have the strength to pull the gun up by the time he took a seat?

I thought that was the beauty of it, in S3 when Walt went crazy on those 2 gangbangers everyone was like HOLY ****ING **** WHAT THE **** DID WALT JUST DO, and now the average viewer was totally expecting Walt to kill.

Shows how the character has evolved, and the scene was still excellent.
08-26-2012 , 11:16 PM
He just told Jesse "no one else has to die now that we are in control".

Frickin liar.

If he died of bleeding out it would make sense to be not having the strength. Also him just sitting there implies that he knew he was going to die. If he could just walk 50 meters in a random direction and lay down in bushes, Walt would have had a pretty hard time finding him. But he couldn't I guess. Just makes it more sad if that is what happened .

this thread tilts me so hard; i view it sometimes as i guess as some sort of subconscious self flagellation

It was not made to be a shocker or a twist that Walt kills him. They built tension leading up to it purposefully.
