He hits him centre mass. It was a perfect shot.
he flinches and then he's in the background standing and swaying a little after this shot. it's unclear he even notices todd pull the gun until todd fires.

It's also worth noting that only Jesse really cares about an innocent kid being killed. As mentioned before, Walt can rationalize it like he does everything else, and Mike, well.. he's desensitized to pretty much everything and doesn't let emotions get the best of him. It's going to be the collateral damage from how Jesse reacts that shapes the remainder of the show.
there's no indication one way or the other, imo, that walt approves. I think he will approve, though.
