All in all a perfect episode.

1. Heisenberg wins again despite stupidly giving away money.
2. Hank dies! Whooo!!!
3. Skyler finally stands up to Walt.
4. Flynn finally gets a taste of reality.
5. Jesse gets his ass kicked.
6. MATT DAMON
7. "The Fall" is complete, with Walt's surrender of Holly the last bit of his humanity fading away.
8. MATT DAMON!!!!!

Well, yea, I think part of his plan included sacrificing Jesse. Then he took an additional opportunity to make the nazis believe he blames Jesse.

In any case, I already said I prob read too much into it.

Holy **** that was intense. That probably wasn't the best episode of television ever but that was the most intense television experience I've ever had. Just couldn't breathe all episode. I remember having this with a few of the best Wire episodes too. I was listening with headphones and watching on lappy in a dark room and when Hank got shot I literally jumped. So sick.

I have no idea wtf will happen now. I mean, I guess it will go for some (lameish) Walt saves Jesse plot. It's kinda hard for me to come up with a really solid reason for that though. Someone gave up the clearing his name thing, another theory could be noticing that he's entirely alone and has absolutely nothing left except at some level Jesse. But either way I don't think it'll make thattt much sense. I'm pretty sure that whatever happens in the last 2 episodes I'm going to think that this should've been the last episode. Obv still looking forward to a bunch of things.

there really aren't a whole lot of things more annoying than people who cry about seeing spoilers on facebook and twitter cuz it's aired sooner than they watch it. be more self-entitled, tools

Same director and head writer that did "Fly" directed this one for whatever that's worth. I know that was a polarizing episode.

After the cold open, Walt fades, then Jesse, then the RV. In reverse, the RV is gone, Jesse is broken/gone, Walt makes the phone call and is left with only Heisenberg. Just a thought.

I'm surprised no one has suggested Jesse somehow escapes and targets Walt's family, seems like the most likely turn to me.

more wtf why didnt the nazi's just kill jesse and walt? THAT is the ridculous part, no matter how much respect Nazi Jack has for Meth Damon, absolutely no point keeping them alive, or at least both of them alive, especially walt.

actually why didnt jack kill everyone apart from Meth Damon and kept the money?
anyone?

Well since Walt's psyche has obviously gone to a very dark place, he might see Jesse as the only real family he has left, since even his own son has turned against him, and Jesse has always served as a surrogate son. Not saying this is for sure where it's going (the revenge for NOT killing Jesse theory has legs, too), but I could see this as a component.

Still glad they killed off Hank, and he at least went out like a Boss. Wasn't happy Walt gave away like $8 mil for effectively no reason... but he can obviously make it back if he wants now that he's thrown every last shred of ethics to the winds.

The fading after the cold open could also foreshadow the order of their deaths.

I just don't understand why it's so incomprehensible walt just kills jesse, kills the nazis, kills himself. that's really not that unbelievable.

What makes you think that whatever will happen in these last two episodes could possibly be 'lame'? Has Gilligan not earned the benefit of the doubt? I don't get people who think this way..

Smart move by buying insurance with the one barrel on Jack's part. He's much savvier than Tuco or several of the other numbskulls Walt has run up against, even if he's no Gus Fring.

Funny how we were discussing the meaning of Ozymandias when the episode title was revealed and it turned out they not only mentioned the poem but the Watchemn "villain" too. "He made up his mind 10 minutes ago" was just like Watchmen.

Lol, I love, amongst everything else in this episode, they have Walt run out of gas, which could have ultimately prevented him from getting there in time to stop Marie, thus losing his family.

The best way to end it would be for Walt to kill the nazi's to save Jesse so he can kill him himself.
