I don't know if J-Mac boots Vanessa if he wins veto, I don't think J-Mac even knows what he is doing. He goes from seriously proposing to throw the veto to Austin/Liz, to wanting to vote to keep Austin to piss Vanessa off, to (I assume) making a deal with Vanessa to boot Austin. I could see Vanessa talking him into keeping her.

Liz I'd guess is out for revenge for Austin. Though she doesn't seem much like she is very protective of Austin so she may not go for the revenge the way other showmances would. The problem is Liz/J-mac both are pretty non-strategic so it is anyone's guess what logic they will decide to use for their decision making.

Winning HOH was just a bad decision for Vanessa last week. I guess she is in a worse spot in terms of survival for THIS week after booting Austin, though I think now if she makes F2, she beats everyone left in the house.

Derrick just tweeted that Austin's exiting "Jury votes" comments could've just won Vanessa the game. It is true if they believe what Austin said that Vanessa has no shot with the jury, they'll want to keep her.

Steve definitely will not bring her to F2 though. J-Mac or Liz who knows.

Steve's a super fan though so I don't think he'll fall for the Dr. Will strategy of "everyone hates me so take me to the final 2". I think Vanessa's only shot of continuing on is winning pov.

I have to correct myself though because I forgot that the POV winner has the only vote, and if Liz wins POV she may well decide to boot Johnny over Vanessa. Particularly after Vanessa works her over.

All she did was piss off Austin, and Liz to a lesser extent. I just don't see any way the jury gives the win to Liz, Steve, or J-Mac over Vanessa unless it is Dan Gheesling jury level of bitterness. It is abundantly clear who the best player of the season was. It was possible before that James/Meg thought Austin was the mastermind & best player, but Vanessa just ended that.

I haven't thought this out much, so thoughts on this. If you're Liz and Vanessa, do you pull the jury card together on Steve and try to force his hand to make it 3 on 1 for veto.

If Vanessa can smooth Liz over, going to Steve and telling him straight up, bitter juror appearance or not, if he takes JMac to finals that Liz will break up with Austin if he doesn't nominate JMac. Either way, it's all about the veto. You insist he plays for a final 3 with them or else. Can you at least convince him to throw veto? Twins, Austin, and vanessa make 4. You tell Steve you know Shelli and Becky love Jmac. All he needs is one of them to win, and he'll probably get both.

I think Steve still takes his chances, but what % does that work assuming you can get Liz on board? The hardest part would be convincing Liz that she needs you if youre Vanessa. She can get that deal on her own considering Steve wants Liz in final 3 anyway.

Liz and Vanessa both want a female to win this year. The women as a group stated that in the beginning of the season. And Liz and Vanessa had that conversation again a couple of days ago. So that may or may not factor in any final 3 considerations.

Steve or Johnny wins POV, Vanessa is gone

Liz wins POV, Johnny is gone

Vanessa wins POV, the house implodes

ya I think this is def the case. depends on how bitter Liz is but I think she'll go all girl power with it.

Vanessa should've made Johnny think she was evicting Austin but evicted Steve. Johnny would have no choice but to evict Liz/Austin over her and Liz/Austin would evict Johnny over her too.
