Maybe Vanessa convinces Steve to put twins up and Austin would throw HOH if Vanessa promised Austin she would keep Liz. Don't think Austin would throw but unsure.

Austin might be okay going up vs Liz since he won't have to vote her out.

Yeah but if Julia wins veto Vanessa leaves unless Julia flips.

This is true, but i don't think he'll base his decision purely on that. Steve will do what he feels is best for his end game. He's only concerned with winning, not whose wronged or righted him at this point imo. I think he puts up vanessa but because he'd rather take jmac to final 2 than her as it's a much easier win. He could beat vanessa but if people in jury decide to give it to who really deserves it they might give it to her. Also steve knows vanessa's is smart and would look to take jmac over him, as she has much better chance against jmac in final 2.

Jmac is pretty good at comps too though, and I think you've got to go with who you can trust and will have your back at this point in the competition. And for Steve, the only person he can really count on is Johnny.

Its not really about trust at that point tho. Whoever stays wins HOH or both go on the block. At that point its just a matter who do you want give shot at final 4 HOH. Which is also a must win or POV. There was already talk that Austin didn't want Steve/Vanessa in final 5. It doesn't really matter a ton until it we find out who wins POV. Hopefully the noms stay the same.

This is what the other side of the house deserves for knowing for weeks ahead of time that liz had a twin and she was on the other team. Did they target her? Did they use it to their advantage through pressure? Nothing. They just talked about it to show they were right but did nothing about it. Let her just come right in to be on the opposite team to form a 3 headed monster that dominated the game as a result.

You can tell based on John's convo with Steve that the wall yeller has 100% influenced John's game.

Vanessa, Austin, Liz, Steve were called the outsiders for a while in the game. Don't remember if they made up the name or if the other side of the house started the name. I think they said it. The other side of the house used to make fun of and be rude to Steve, Vanessa, and jace(long hair don't care sit in the chair). I think that covers most of it.

Austin talk with Steve just showing he is horrible strategically without Vanessa's guidance.

there's not really anything he can say at this point. It's so clearly 3 on 3 that its just about comps. It's obvious that you'd keep Julia off since she's worst at them

That's actually a tough question. Mostly because steve himself would go back and forth a thousand times. Vanessa would prob intimidate him into keeping her

Julia winning the POV this week is probably the only thing standing between Vanessa and winning the game. MAYBE JMac winning F3 HOH and choosing to sit next to Steve but I doubt he would.

Even then I don't think they put V up. I think she is a huge favorite to win this thing at this point. Everything has gone perfect for her down the stretch.

I don't get those complaining about this season.

No, but if Julia wins POV and takes down Liz, Johnny Mac probably goes up as the replacement and Vanessa is stuck in the minority at F5. She would have to win her way through to the end, instead of the situation she's in now where anybody except Julia winning POV results in her being on top of a 3-2 at F5 with two people who definitely want to take her to the end (maybe 3, if Julia is there).

That's true.... Which is why I said she is a huge favorite, as opposed to a lock.

while i agree she's the clear favorite at this point, she still needs a couple things to go her way in order to not need the f3 hoh. she can't be with a steve + john combo, or 2/3 of the austwins. so its kind of a delicate balancing act she'll have to do over the next 3 evictions to make sure she gets the right combination

its also why it'd definitely be smart for steve + john to take out austin this week to force vanessa to be cut off from the twins, rather than giving her wiggle room to get in with austin or julia (if liz goes home)

also vanessa is unlikely to be good at the final 3 HOH because both parts 1 and 2 are usually more physical than mental

oh, and she also has to dodge a bitter jury which may not be so easy. meg said before she left that she doesn't hold any grudges against anyone besides vanessa. id assume james would feel the same way and would vote with meg

steve would prob get shelli's vote, and the austwins would get each others vote. john would get becky's vote. so vanessa doesn't really have automatic votes for her - in addition to having to deal with potential bitterness

so id say vanessa is by far the biggest favorite to reach final 3-4, but its not quite as clear how she'll close that into a victory. she still needs a fair amount of things to go her way
