Man I knew this show would be good, but I didn't think it would be this good.

BCS season 1 >>>>> BB season 1 imo

Gonna be hard to maintain that lead over BB, but this is a hell of a start.

My thoughts coming into the season weren't so much low expectations but more "I really hope this isn't just a case of the network and Gilligan cashing in on BB with a mediocre spinoff."

Ya, I basically thought it was going to be a comedy. I was hoping for a really good dark comedy.

The show has exceeded my expectations and it looks like they're actually succeeding in making a legit Breaking Bad prequel (a Walt prequel would not have been very entertaining).

I didn't even really consider the possibility that this show would have the same feel as Breaking Bad. I was worried it would be some stupid, wacky, comedy where Saul just defends a different quirky criminal every week.

While watching the episode, I thought the guy in the rear car may be Huell.

It seems the driver is intentionally being put in the frame but also intentionally obscured.

However, I'm not sure this guy is big enough.

Maybe when BB finished filming, Lavell Crawford (the actor who plays Huell) started losing weight. He loses 150 lbs and plays himself in BCS. As the show progresses, he has to gradually put all the weight back on.

If an ex girlfriend drunk calls you, getting a blow job isn't really a surprise.

This show is more like an ugly girl that calls you up, and you tell her to come over anyways, cause whatever, you got nothing better to do. Then when she arrives, it turns out she's really hot. Then you get the surprise BJ.

Yeah Hank or Jesse are the most likely BB main characters to have a some kind of role in this, but I'm not sure I'd bet on either at evens to show up. Gus is the most central BB character we're a lock to see imo.

When Saul was driving and we saw that culdesac, it reminded me right away about Hank. I could totally see him this season towards the end. I mean, hell, Saul is mingling with some cartel guys and thats Hank's area right there.

If the show gets good ratings, which it seems to, they are going to want to drag it out for as long as possible. They can't catch up to BB time too fast or introduce too many BB characters too early.
