Music was terrible though. This is a TV show about superheroes not a sweeping historical epic.

Tone was jarring.

The line Coulson says after coming out from the shadows is wtf. Its like a poor imitation of Whedon. Like Coulson was trying out stand up for a weekend routine right in the middle of a scene which should have been more serious. There were other examples of this. Its also partly down to the actors not having enough charisma to pull off quip-y lines as well and it just feels off.

The show looked and felt like The New Adventures of Superman or something, not even on the level of Heroes.

Terrible. Reminded me of Smallville with almost everyone being young and good looking, and just the all around general cheesiness.

Hated everyone, even Coulson, who I liked in the movies.

Bleh, will probably watch every episode though.

I will give it one more episode out of respect to Whedon.

But when the highlight of the episode is seeing "grr arr" monster from the end credits then not a good look.

much worse this week imo.. But still watchable.

Cameo was great.

It's prob going to even out at a 5.5-6/10 type of show.

I liked that the villain called them out on the cast of good looking people. Otherwise i hate:
the characters
the dialogue
the plot
the cinematography
the action sequences

Will still probably keep watching to crush on diablo's girl and hate myself the entire time.

Both episodes have been awful. I suspect I'll be giving up on this one soon and not coming back unless I find out the show improved. Given that I don't like any of the characters nor the story so far that seems doubtful.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought that episode was decent, and a slight improvement on the first episode. It actually felt more like an episode of Firefly than anything though.

Was a pretty big gap imo from the first episode which I enjoyed. This was cheesy and it won't take too many more like it before I drop it. Meh, might just be nursing a hangover from the awesomeness that was BB so will give it a chance, but seems like there is nothing worth watching on tv except Boardwalk.
