Interesting ending of mid season. I like it a lot.

Now we can turn to Ward as lord Ward or Ward the god

Being a henchman for Hydra seems like a terrible job.

Sometimes I wonder why anyone uses any sort of handcuffs on TV anymore. You'd be better off just asking people politely not to escape.

SHIELD is actually becoming a legit show now. This season has been great.

wut

this was a 'legit' show since Season 1 Turn Turn Turn

that being said if you told me before the show started that we'd end up seeing Zombie Hydra Ward by season 3 I woulda laughed at you

So now the questions I have is when Will told Simmons the creature would drive his team members insane, did it just take over their bodies and that's why they appeared insane?

When Fitz was talking with Will, he seemed to have memories of Simmons, does that mean it just takes over and Ward still knows all of the stuff Ward knew?

Maybe the biggest question of all, why was the alien God thing just chilling having a nap in the cave as Will when Fitz goes to him?

So after all the fuss about making sure the creature doesn't come through the portal at all costs, they vacate the room with coulson/Fitz without shutting it down. Lol

The creature must be able to retain the memories, he knew it was Fitz when Fitz jumped down the hatch.

I guess the creature knew Simmons/Fitz would come back for Will so staying in the room waiting was his best bet.

Even if the crew thought Ward was dead and the creature too, you still have to shut the portal down.

Lord of Ward.

-Dalton is killing it as ZombieWard (did we really think he wouldn't?)
-Yo-yo/Mack arc probably heading towards tragedy
-Why must we let the Inhumans go to 'on-call' status? We're supposed to be forming a team here!
-Good to have this much Ellis screentime
-Talbot!

yo-yo seems too powerful to be a recurring character,
just makes everyone else completely irrelevant on missions.

I was surprised she actually lived through the episode just for that reason. I loved the joy she had in using her powers though.

Right? Why get rid of two of the best characters on the show. Get ready for many episodes of Daisy and Lincoln romancing.

To set them up for the Marvel's Most Wanted spin-off.

Ugg. Another show?!? I'm one of the few people I know IRL who watches AoS, but considering the revelation that the movies have zero idea what is going on in tv land kinda makes me want to watch less if the show goes really downhill since tie ins are basically null now. I can't imagine taking these 2 off the show will make it better. Maybe after a season, they will un-disavow them and bring them back.

It's just getting to be too much IMO. Between AoS, Agent Carter and then the Netflix shows, I kinda think they're expanding too rapidly. But whatever

Lol the Netflix shows are awesome, even the not nearly as good season 2 of daredevil delivered way more entertainment than all but like a half dozen shows. JJ was a perfect season IMO.

Agent Carter is awesome an also almost certainly cancelled this season because more people are in the show than watch it unfortunately.

SHIELD is not close to guaranteed to keep going given its poor ratings but its in a really good place entertainment wise.

Don't forget there is the Guardians cartoon which afaik is canon so that is in the same universe as SHIELD et al.

Most Wanted has plenty of potential to be the top "powers show" that isn't on Netflix. And when Punisher the series is green lit, which is a ****ing lock, it will be the goat.

Oh and BTW there is another MCU called Damage Control coming soon, which is apparently a comedy, and for good measure outside the MCU there is an x men show called Legion but that is in its own universe so won't touch the xmen universe which also includes Deadpool of course.

I am unsure if Hellfire is canon and in the film x men universe but I suspect it will be. So that is one to look forward to next year assuming not bald Xavier stops Apocalypse in May.

Basically I'm saying we are in the golden age of these types of shows being made even if a few miss the mark. Plus Punisher slots in nicely to replace Banshee which has its finale this year.

Yeah, the Guardians cartoon continues from where the movie left off, but it's clearly not going to be canon and it is almost certain to be contradicted by the sequel since the cartoon has revealed
Spoiler:
Starlord's father
, which I would expect to be a mystery and a possible plot point in the next movie.

Out of curiosity is gotg cartoon good?

For context I think Rebels is some of the best Star Wars content so I don't really care that its a cartoon just to be snobbish or whatever.

It's not on the level of Rebels, but it's watchable. Rebels is the first cartoon finale I think I've ever actively looked forward too. Probably could hold its own thread. I guess that's also partially because it is canon and people might expect to find out Ashoka's fate on that show.

Rebels is consistently awesome, if you loved Clone Wars this might be your new favourite show if you give it a try.

The back half of season one is where it really gets good and season one has been really good. Only one lower quality episode I can think of on s2.
