Off to a good start.

"A disgusting disappointment" and shoulder shake killed me.

Also, who's Liz' mystery lover.

From the effort they took to keep his identity a secret, I would think it's some cast member from before? Maybe Cleveland guy?

Loved it. Best show of the night, tonight.

Regardless of how Fey looked it was pretty damn ballsy of her to take her shirt off in her very first scene back after pregnancy.

Loved it. Glad it's back.

Tina Fey was on Letterman last week and she explained how burned out she looked in the first few episodes. On Letterman she looked the same as ever so she might go back to classic liz in a few months maybe.

This was a good ep of 30 Rock.

Now that means that we basically get the same jokes, they're funny, but it's not terribly new or interesting. Used to mean something more.

Not really bad in any way (although a rapture joke with Kenneth feels too obvious and too dated)- but still kinda coasting along.

Kenneth still sucks and his entire subplot was wasted time, but the rest of it was really sharp. I enjoyed it overall.

What are the chances "America's Kidz Got Singing" goes into production in the next 6 months

The positives outweigh the negatives by a margin large enough for all that to be irrelevant. I'm sure you'd agree.

I loved Jon McEnroe and D'Fwan as the celebrity judges. Sometimes 30 rock feels like a cartoon. I'd expect to see something like that on the Simpsons as well. Also Napoleon Dynamite is something that feels really cartoony to me.

Hey d'you guys know the Napoleon Dynamite cartoon debuts this week? I'm interested in that.

Do you think the "I'm already in your head" line from Jack was intentional to match the line that's in all of those commercials for the new Denzel Washington movie?

Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Great Kelsey Grammer cameo as well.

Looks like you've got a Catch 22 on your hands, although I can't be sure because I refuse to read literature that questions the morality of war.

Imagine what the internet will do to me: "Maroney caught in closet with married man and inbred virgin... again!"

Pretty hilarious episode tonight. The lack of Frank/Toofer and somewhat minimal Kenneth helped a lot.

Alec Baldwin killed again. "This. Guy. Might. SUCK!"

Loved intensive purposes and how it surely went over so many heads

Pets whose owners have died.

I kinda tuned in and out of this episode. It wasn't my favorite but Baldwin did great as usual. I don't remember how Pete ended up with his pants down and the belt around his neck. Was that explained?

That sounds very.. masculine?

Jack Donaghy was top notch. Liked the Tracy stuff, too. Props to Denise Richards - you got to have a sense of humor to come on and do that....or just completely broke. Kelsey Grammer has been good the few times he's been on.
