I feel strangely confident considering Butler's near-insurmountable lead. If Kemba and Lamb can stay out of foul trouble I like our chances a lot.

It's pretty obvious that Kemba and Lamb are each going to hit a 3 in the first couple of minutes of the second half, then they'll be off and running.

2) They need the freshman to be very good if they're going to be competitive in the Big East. I think they will be eventually. How soon Lamb and Smith become reliable offensive options will probably determine if this is a tournament team or not.

My goodness, how great is Brad Stevens? This is probably the first time ever that I felt bad for the other team after my team won (but only a little bit). I would have been rooting for them against any other team in the country.

we played some reallllllly good D tonight. after seeing butler's last few games, i definitely didn't think we were capable of shutting them down this hard (18.8% shooting! that's like rec league bad). so glad Kemba got the ring, he really deserved it with how he played this year. i'm also really looking forward to seeing this team next year and how lamb/nappier/oriakhi and the other young guys can develop and learn to play w/o the POTY

omg u are still so pathetic. we travel across the country to play in front of "the most passionate fans in college basketball" and still beat you. you think if sdsu didn't get that one technical call against them they would have won, u sad and mad. You guys were lucky in the first 5 minutes that leonard wasn't ejected for throwing a punch at Oriaki then talking ****. SDSU was outclassed by the best team in the country on their own court, it was a tough lesson but Uconn been doing that to a lot of people all season. take comfort in the fact you aren't alone

Congrats on the win guys, I was rooting for Butlahhhh but I kind of figured Butler's construction of a new gymnasium would get in the way eventually if and when UConn could heat up since they possessed pure domination of the inside. Would have liked to have seen both teams play a little better but I bet you guys felt okay with the way everything turned out.

Is Calhoun really going to retire?
