i was reading in another forum about the most recent uconn shootarounds in anaheim since they arrived. Kemba and Lamb were obv killing it. Shabazz tried dunking and couldn't lol. thats kinda sad, dude still has sick handles and is a great defender.

Unfortunately, those weren't my seats. I was in the upper level. But it was still awesome. I'm pretty sure I was half of the UConn fans there. The SDSU dans were great -- super loud and into the game, but also really fun and well behaved. The guys sitting near me were devastated after the game and I felt bad for them.

Their fans were really respectful about UConn. They kept talking about how great Kemba is, and one guy said twice that there's no shame in losing because UConn is a top five all-time program (ridiculous, but whatever, I still loved hearing it).

I knew Lamb had a great game, but I didn't realize he was 9-for-11 until just now when I looked at the boxscore. Wow.

What else is there to say about Kemba? I'm going to write him a love letter like Mac wrote to Chase Utley.

I really can't believe Arizona is the only thing standing between them and the Final Four. They've come this far, might as well keep this amazing ride going for one more week.

Definitely not all time but they put up a pretty good case for top 5 of the last 25 years. If the kids were under 25 I can see why they said that.

ok so how does uconn match up vs Arizona? lol, i know almost nothing about this team except derrick williams is a beast. if uconn losses in the elite 8 i wont be heartbroken, this team has already over acheived but i don't see this young group ever giving up

ok question for you guys- how much $ (possible winnings from march madness pool(s)) would it take for you to root against uconn at this point? I'm in such a horrible (tho kinda awesome) spot, if zona beats uconn and kansas wins it all i stand to win ~45k. if uconn wins it all i'm ecstatic because i love the huskies and i'd still win a little $ because i entered other brackets with uconn winning (tho MUCH smaller $)...

obviously the answer is i should have known the freshman would come around this fast and step up as much as they have in the tourney and just picked uconn in every bracket, but now i'm faced with such a brutal decision... who to root for, i dont think i'll even be able to watch the game
