I thought I saw on the ticker that Toronto won 1-0 today.

What was the actual score?

I can't believe we won. I was certain that this pitching gem and lack of offence was just meant to find another way to torture Jays fa with a demoralizing loss . Especially when rays loaded bases in the 11th.

Yippee.

Yeah certainly thought in the 7th or 8th "man score at least one here or Tampa is going to score 3 in the bottom of the 8th ad I'll be sad"

Both teams forgot to show up early for the day game so they just started playing in the 8th inning.

Need Boyd to have a great start and remain up with the Jays. Hopefully he gets some run support

Toronto people, best place to eat brunch within walking distance of the rogers centre?

It wouldn't be my first recommendation but you could do worse that Cora's on Blue Jay Way and Wellington. It is a chain restaurant. You might like it if you're big on fresh fruit. Very close to Rogers Centre.

If you have more time, I would suggest walking or taking the streetcar to either Le Petit Dejuner (King/George) or Figs (Queen/Parliament). Lineups will be out the door at Le Petit Dejuner if you're going on a weekend, and it is a bit expensive but worth trying. I've had a great Croque Madame when I went, they also do eggs benedict and waffles well.

Our personal favorite is Figs. Nothing out of this world, but they do the traditional breakfasts very well, it's reasonably priced and rarely packed. I've been there a dozen times in the last year.

Thanks man we also got a recommandation for Le Petit Dejeuner from our server at REAL SPORTS so that's where we're headed unless there's too long of a line.

Petit Dejeuner is where my GF always takes me for the waffles, so if you want excellent waffles go there. Everything else there is meh though.
I actually prefer Bar Wellington`s cheese and bacon stuffed waffles + no lines and annoying brunch hipsters since it`s a pub. If you like lines, I think it`s called la neuf, a small french bistro just on Wellington or something East of Spading North of Front is very good too.

Also, I wouldn`t trust anyone that suggested Cora`s
