Hey Tony, lefties are batting .149 against Franklin. You are such a ****ing idiot.

Dude comes in and hits somebody on first pitch then leaves, freaking funniest moment of the season right there.

Ship. Oh look. Somehow a right handed pitcher Franklin was able to get a left handed hitter out. Impossible.

My preferences for starting the ninth inning there,

Frankin > Miller > rest of bullpen minus Reyes > Pujols > Reyes.

I swore off posting 2+2 this month but had to break that to express my anger at one of the dumbest decisions ever. We still won but seriously, wtf.

This season has gone about as well as any of us could have imagined. Locks for MVP and Rookie of the Year and two Cy Young candidates. Duncan out, Holliday in. Thurston/Barden/whoever out, DeRosa in. Motte out, Franklin in. Pineiro this year better than Lohse last year.

I don't know who the other contenders are for NL Rookie of the Year, but Colby has been slumping lately and probably isn't a lock anymore I guess.

Dexter Fowler in Colorado is his biggest competition. I think it's still up for grabs between them.

Shortly after the Cards aquired Holliday someone offered me 2.6:1 that the Cards won't go to the World Series. I accepted. Sure, it is a parlay, but I think stage one - chances of winning the division - is 100%, so it was all about the playoffs and I think I do have more than 27% equity there. The Cards (with Holliday) are at least 50:50 against any competition in the NL, so I have 25% equity granted.

You got pwned. You would've got a lot better odds at any sportsbook. They are only 9/4 to win at bodog as of now. A month ago it had to be at least 13/4.

We won last night. Carp has won 9 of his last 10, and the one he didn't win was because Franklin blew the save in Houston. Lohse back on the DL, Smoltz going today.

Doesn't McCutchen in Pittsburgh have something to say about that?

Heading to a sports bar this afternoon to catch Smoltzy's first start. Hopefully it goes well.

I would say Carp is now the front runner for Cy Young too. So at this point MVP, Cy Young, and probably Rookie of the Year (maybe not) on this team.

yeah 40 ip > .2 era. there's a pretty decent chance carp doesn't even get to 200 innings.

i'm not even going to address wins
