I think most of us got our first taste of baseball glory 15 months ago.
Thankfully I'm 46 so remember all past FB glory. I think the red zone offense catches up to us in Green Bay. We'd kill Baltimore in a rematch, they had absolutely everything go their way and played phenomenally and still only won 16-6.
My fear is we're dominating GB or NO, playing our game, up 16-10 and driving late. Alex maybe forces something, Harbaugh wastes a timeout on a dumb challenge, and then Rodgers or Brees marches for the winner aided by a bad PI call.
But we are in this thing, the 2 seed is just huge, LOL Saints losing to both STL & TB.
Anyone read that dumbass in Bill Simmons mailbag yesterday? So stupid it almost is indescribable but:

Q: I have a theory for why the 49ers won't make it to the Super Bowl. Basically, Jim Harbaugh is like a father who failed at something and is now going to take it out on his kids by being overly aggressive in his tutelage. Think about what he used to do in the playoffs as a Colt — getting a beat down from the Steelers, for instance, until he was falling all over the field with blood running down his face and jersey. He never made it to the big game. Now Harbaugh is an overbearing, overly aggressive and excitable coach who will freak out if his "charges" slip up. Just sayin' — watch what happens when the 49ers need to come from behind against the likes of Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers. The disgruntled "I never made it, so you have to do it for me or I'll make you feel like crap" father figure will show his teeth and not be able to motivate.

SG: That's a pretty good theory. Mine is a little simpler: Their quarterback is Alex Smith.
Nice going, Adam Perry of Boulder, CO, other than the fact you're 100% wrong about Harbaugh's NFL career & coaching style. As for the Steelers, Harbaugh kicked the crap out of them in the '96 AFC Chmp Game, it was the defense, specifically Quentin Coryatt who lost that game. Douche.
