So awesome, I hap my laptop open watching the game on mlb.tv while watching the Flyers with a few people at my house. I had to bite my lip from the 5th-7th I couldnt tell anyone in the room, once he got the final out in the 7th I made a vague announcement about switching over for the end of the phillies game.

This really might jumpstart this team...

Oh and lol 1unearned run.

Carrol totally leaned into that Moyer fastball in the 5th clocked in at 81 mph and took it like it was nothing. I haven't played baseball past like the 4th grade and I know 81 is a laughably slow fastball, but it's still 81 mph. Does that like not hurt at all or something? I feel like getting hit by like a 55 mph soft toss might still sting a little.

So so so tilted.

I watch probably 80% of Phillies games. Of the ones I don't watch, I check in on them while they're happening (and thus would be able to get to a tv if a perfect ****ing game was happening) like always but I missed it because I was out of town and busy all weekend.

Do it again this year so I can watch Roy?

This offense is driving me insane, Werth is looking lost at the plate.

werth has been really really bad, they all have.

Come to think of it this perfect game had to be one of the least viewed in history, doesnt it? I dont know anyone that saw the whole thing, and i sadly didnt tape it, just caught some of the replay. Most of my friends didnt see it except those at chickie and petes cause they have both o. makes me bitter that i had to see the flyers lose and miss a masterpiece.

I watched all of it, thankfully I'm not a hockey fan. Though I only started paying a lot of attention mid-way into the 5th.

This has been a super frustrating stretch, but if this is as bad as we get Im not all that nervous.

Aside from from todays start from Blanton weve been getting some good pitching performances. Not to mention the fact that we are about to get relatively healthy.

Heh I never heard of Muny until I played with him yesterday. He's super weak tight.

Are you serious? I think he is a winning player.

You mean weak tight post flop? B/c i know he has LAG stats preflop

HR!!! Wheeeee! Plz to be parlaying that into an improbable and furious 7 run comeback that kicks us out of this stupid frustrating slump.

Seriously, this slump is so frustrating. 1st and 3rd with nobody out and they don't score any, in part thanks to a stupid base-running move by Ruiz. I'm really hoping this slump is mainly caused by missing Polanco and Rollins at the top of the line-up. Though these are sometimes the type of slumps that snowball for a month until they get back on track and really hurt the whole season. And seeing how tight the NL East is, and probably will continue to be, it seems like a concern.

I guess all we can do is sit back and pray that they get their act together sooner rather than later. Also I'm aware of how chicken little I am right now.

THIS

The whole team is just playing like garbage right now. They are not aggressive at all on the bases. Werth & Victorino are pressing big time, you even see it out of Utley now and again.

I'm still staying away from the chicken little feeling, but this is getting really annoying. Last night I went to bed after Howards homerun. I figured it was better than working myself up when they couldn't score anymore runs and losing a good nights sleep.
