Seems like he's going through fits, at first he was way too conservative and not sending guys he should have, and now he's sending guys he has no business sending. If only he could find a happy medium.

Btw, why are you guys whining about the rotation behind Halladay? Soon enough Blanton and Happ will be back and we'll own.

I don't care what the records are or what month it is, beating the Mets, esp. Santana, is always a great feeling. Now let's keep it rolling against the Cards.

This may have to change.

Tonight: Blanton v. Garcia
5/4: Hamels v. Wainwright
5/5: Kendrick v. Penny
5/6: RFH v. Lohse

This is going to be a great series this week. 2 very good teams squaring off.

All they have to do is put a ****ing ear piece in the crew chief's ear to some video review guy and this would have been over 3 minutes ago. It's obviously foul, and replay is great, but this system is so inefficient.

... five minutes.

Señor needs to stop hitting 8th. For one, the guy has like a .430 OBP this year. But he's so slow it's hard to bunt him, so hitting him in front the pitcher makes no sense. How has Manuel not realized this already? That happens all the time.

I was gonna comment on this.. Seems like a lot to ask of your pitchers to get him over.

Tough when the pitcher bunts it 12 inches in front of the plate twice

Horse **** call on interference though

2nd for horse**** call.

Honestly looked to me like he was leaning to the right to get out of the way, which naturally caused his left arm to elevate a bit for balance, but certainly not malicious or even close enough to the play to remotely be interference.

But then, Brendan Ryan was probably safe on his triple, so, I guess that balances out a bit

You know that nobody bunts with 100% efficiency, right? It seems pretty ridic to act like a failed sacrifice attempt = bum

(a) Offensive interference is an act by the team at bat which interferes with, obstructs, impedes, hinders or confuses any fielder attempting to make a play.
He did elbow him. So even though the ball was already past and I'm not sure Blanton meant to elbow him (might have been for balance/absorbing contact), seems like a somewhat reasonable call.

In before obvious hypocrisy wrt breaking up double plays.
