in an amazing turn of events, I check back this morning and see I recieved the win due to an additional .5 points added to my score for reasons I cannot understand. instead of being dead at 3-6, I have life at 4-5 after a win by .2 points. I'm still shocked how I can easily be the points leader, but stuck in 7th place

Im actually starting to think fantasy football has jumped the shark. I started feeling that way last year but thought I was being a nit, but honestly Im sick of the variance at times. You can have no brain and win a fantasy football league thats for damn sure.

Yeah I stopped playing fantasy a couple years ago. I couldn't take the variance combined with the fact that the skill cap is so low that once you get in a tough league everyone makes the right moves and it's 95% variance.

I went from winning a fantasy football league to finishing 4th when they reversed the Kurt Warner scoring decision in week 15 last year if it makes you feel any better, ----------------

Fink you summed it up perfectly, in my main league with my buddies I hit that cap a few years before the majority of the league and no they have all caught up. Now I dont have any edge for the most part and like you said its 95% variance, I hate getting my money in when I dont have any edge.

Huuuuuuuuge game tonight. We could move into a tie for the division, and keep pace with the rest of the NFC for the wildcard race. Or, with a loss, we stay a game back, are a game out of the wildcard as well, and move to 0-2 in the division making tiebreakers that much harder.
