I didn't expect PSU to win, but my God when was the last time PSU allowed more than 60 points in a game? Maybe during the 2003/2004 seasons or something.

I don't think they ever have before this. But I think I do know the last time OSU allowed 63!

even a great team could almost lose to a bad team once, but not on consecutive weeks.

their remaining schedule is 6-1 mich state, ranked braska, previously ranked NW, iowa, and eventually crushed by bama OSU

if they win 3 of those games, i'd be amazed. they are 6-1 now, they're going to end the season at best 8-4, though it wouldnt shock me if they finished 6-6

29-6. apparently betting markets are filled with morons. 8-4 at best.

So how does this season end for us? I see 1-3 most likely with the only win coming vs Purdue. 7-5 would go down as a success in my book.

@Minn, vs Neb both seems winnable, but gonna take great efforts. I don't really know what to expect next week... but it will certainly be a season defining game. I just hope we don't see another repeat of @IU

Vegas has Minny as a small favorite so I guess that game could go either way. PSU doesn't seem to play too well on the road though.

I was thinking 7-5 would be the ceiling for this team before the season started, and that looks like it could work out with a win over Neb or Minny. And yes, with only 61 players, that does seem like a pretty successful season.

Yeah 7-5 seems about expectation. 8-4 or better would be a great step forward.

all 3 are winnable. if they beat Min and Pur, I think that sets them up nicely to beat Neb.

on another note - the was a Matt McGloin siting in Oakland when he replaced the dreadful Terrell Pryor

Gotta have this game if they want a shot at an 8 win season.

The only thing keeping me from being totally crestfallen is at least we can blame the lack of schollies. Now when they get the schollies back and still suck I don't know what I'll do.

Nice win today. Was legit concerned this coulda been close game, and I was sweating when Purdue made it 28-21. In the end our run game was just too much for them. ZZ is such a beast, and I like Belton a lot too. Having them both back next year will be huge.

Savoring every win
