Laughing and ribbing is fine as rival fans. But when ikes rolls in with that comment as if MICHIGAN MEN would never go so light on a kid of their own is laughable after the punishment Glasgow received in the spring. And sanctimonious is the perfect word for it.

Wiper, 08 is the limit. But yeah, he's 20.

The police released JT to Cardale. Glad to see they're friendship isn't just a show on the sideline.

reading contextual clues is not a strong point for OSU fans... but then again reading the words themselves is difficult for OSU fans.

So was your original comment not meant to express that OSU punishes too lightly?

meh. 1-game embarrassment suspension is fine, what would yall like him to have gotten?
I think blowing a .08 is illegal, and 11w says he blew slightly over .08

Well let's be clear, OSU does punish too lightly. They ****ing cover up **** and lie to the NCAA about it while leaving a paper trail and espousing being honest everywhere. However, LOL OSU

So it was, and I didn't miss any contextual clues? OK then. Anyway, UM has had plenty of their own bad apples that they keep around so I'll go ahead and disagree on the punishing too lightly business and go on my way.

No hard feelings. Get your lols in as we did when sparty got the miracle. I admit I was butthurt, however, it had to be pointed out that UM punishes alcohol offenses just the same, or even lighter, than OSU. Good luck until Nov 28.

I was simply laughing at OSU wrt Barrett, then responding to your butthurt about 'HOW COULD YOU SAY WE PUNISH PLAYERS LIGHTLY' with the time the leader of your program did exactly that. lololol it's not some unbelievable circumstance bro, it ****ing happened very recently in a very high profile and confirmable way.

Sources may confirn, but I've spent too much of my morning on this. Jim is long gone and those kids violated lolworthy ncaa rules that serve to exploit free labor. You likely appreciate that fact as a fellow liberal. Jim was wrong to lie about it and he paid the price.

Seems like it should be two weeks per OSU own alcohol policy. Barrett doesn’t turn 21 until January, so he is underage. That automatically qualifies as a second offense under the policy. Thus, Barrett should be subject to a 2-week suspension under this policy. OSU AD Gene Smith said incident doesn't fall under the alcohol policy because it is a misdemeanor and Urban Meyer decides punishment.

Maybe I am missing something. I don't really care too much either way 1 or 2 games but don't circumvent your own policy. What does he have to do traffic heroin while under 21 to get two games.

Jim tressel's ignoring of what they did had nothing to do with people getting paid or not. You don't get to play that card.

Just to sum up, you reacted with indignation that someone could possibly suggest that OSU would punish players lightly when the leader of your program did that 5 years ago in a super high profile way.

lol good work

Gene smith is just hoping that Meyer doesn't fire him. He has to defer.

maybe urb should have just cited "family issues" and told his linemen to not threaten anyone else.

guys, I live in Ohio, trust me I hate osu more than any of you. but c'mon. a) if you don't want them undefeated coming into Ann Arbor with their full compliment of players, I don't know what to say to you, and b) there are exactly zero reasons for Michigan fans to be throwing rocks in the 'light punishment' argument.

there are many rocks to throw, and i'm going to laugh at every single OSU misfortune wiper.

LOL. Ok. The suggestion that OSU punishes lightly is fine. But you can't play that as some trump card as a UM fan. THAT was my point. Arguing otherwise is so disingenuous.

Moreover, I attempted to end the discussion in a civilized, respectful way, and you continue on being a total ass. Why? I can see how you've earned your rep around here. Good luck the rest of the way.

You attempted to end the discussion? You simply said something in response. Please.

Poster on Ozone is claiming it was a brand new explorer with dealer tags.... THAT will be interesting to follow. Obviously could be troll but we'll find out one way or another.

Thus was a clear attempt to put it to bed in a friendly way. What do you want me to say? Goodbye?

yeah you're cutting an important part of that post out, you're still butthurt. "I WAS RIGHT, let's stop talking", isn't the magnanimous post you seem to think it is.

Yes, because the first part was not me trying to put it to bed. The second part was. So, accordingly, I quoted that part of the post. JFC.
