So ****ing awesome. What a rollercoaster ride.

Still not thrilled with Girardi's decision, I just pray AJ pitches well enough on short rest to at least keep it close.

if the yankees lose, a-rod not hitting in the last 3 games would be a big reason why (e.g. 2004 ALCS)

unbelievably awesome

and tytytytytytyty damon tex and A-Rod because if Girardi put in Coke for no ****ing reason (no lefties coming up for 3 batters) with D-Rob, Ace and Phil available, and the 3 lefties coming up 3 batter later, I probably would have had to turn the TV off.

you know what **** it. im gonna tell it how i feel it. burnett can be shaky at times, and going on short rest against lee is NOT the correct play, and i think its somewhat close but not nearly as close as some of you may think. and im tired and ive been drinking but i would regret not making a bigger point of it if i didnt say it before tomorrrows game cause even if we manage to somehow get our bats heated up enough to get a few runs against lee its still not even close to a lock that aj doesnt give up runs.

throw in gaudin, hope to get lucky, and if not, come home still with the lead and have a fully rested burnett against someone who is NOT their ace instead of pitching andy on short rest. god forbid, and i dont think itll happen, but god forbid we lose 3 str8 because our starters were ok, but not good enough, dont sit here and tell me that we shouldve played it smarter and rested our starters fully to ensure 1 win instead of gambling to win 1 out of 3.

sorry for the debbie downer post in the midddle of the celebration, but i wouldnt feel like a true yankee fan if i didnt make it a point to speak up when i think we are not doing everything in our power to ensure we win the series.

ok im off to bed now, getting tired, much

I am NOT getting into this again (which is why I'm posting this here and not the main thread), but wanted to share this story:

Turned on Mad Dog Radio this morning on Sirius on my way to school (my commute is about 3 minutes so I get to hear one conversation). As soon as I turned it on, they turned their discussion to, "Well the ump did ONE thing right last night." and then they discussed how the ump did a great job and did everything right when Howard missed the plate. I sat there lolololing the whole time.

IF the yankees go on to win, Rivera has to be the MVP right?

i hate talking about this now, but if burnett pitches a gem tonight and the yankees win he could get it

agreed on burnett. i was about to say if CC wins 3 times he can get it, but obv he can't since he lost game 1.

maybe cliff lee gets it (in a losing effort) if he rapes again tonight =x
