I don't know, but one thing I like about Pelfrey is that I believe he has a mean streak (though it's hard to tell when he's walking everyone).

wowee. just got home to see the score. why does it still feel like we're going to lose up 7-3 in the 5th?

I love how the starter began to give the lead back, but the lineup has continued to take advantage of suspect pitching and didn't just fold. Refreshing.

Wright looks much better at the plate tonight. Did he move a bit closer to the plate in the batters box? Even his outs he's hit hard. Plus I like seeing him hit line drives to the opposite field.

That just means he's swinging too late, right?

I'm thinking it means he's not missing on pitches on the outside part of the plate.

Don't get too cocky after tonight, gents. We're in for it tomorrow with Cy on the hill.

Ollie knows whats at stake tomorrow afternoon.

As far as big Pelf showing grit, he did. He helped his cause with 2 rbi. This is the first game he has ever won in May in his pro career. Good for him.

I liked Beltran stealing a base tonight.

Kudos to Daniel Murphy for getting a homer in the first inning.

Wright seemed to have some pop in his bat tonight.

Tonight was fun to watch, lets hope the Mets can build off of this win.
