If Church is DLd that leaves F-Mart as the only position player in the Mets minor league system who is even close to being ready to help the major league ball club right now. There are literally no other options. Kielty (hurt), Sullivan, Feliciano, Wily Mo Pena? Hell no. They are all putting up atrocious numbers in AAA. There isn't anyone in Binghamton either. Nick Evans is there but he's got to figure out what went wrong with his swing. So he's not even close. There really aren't any decent infielders to consider in AA or AAA either. Aside from F-Mart and a handful of pitchers almost all of the Mets minor league talent is in A ball right now.
