Losing Wilfork will hurt alot. Must replace him. If anything he takes on dbl teams to free up Chandler or Sheard now.

CLE must have known something since being ONLY 25 and couple seasons with like 6-8.5 sacks. Makes you scratch your head in like ughh why not give him the 2/11M contract...??

Also NE run a 3-4 right?

Sheard his first 2 season in CLE he played with his hand in the dirt in 4-3 defense and had his 2 best years with 8.5 sacks in 11' and 7 sacks in 12' Tehn they swithch to 3-4 in 13' and 14' With Chudzinski and Pettine and his stats dropped a little.

They forced him to be an OLB when he's clearly best at LDE. If they refuse to play him in proper position, it's obvious that his stats will suck. And even then, he was STILL the second best 3-4 OLB against the run in the league.

Vince was not the Vince of 2-3 years ago. He attracted double teams less than half his snaps this past year.

Pats have been base 4-3 since 2012, though Nink makes their 4-3 sort of a hybrid.

Maybe you should write about a team you actually watch.

Maybe you shouldnt get all butthurt. Im in this thread asking these questions becuase Im curious.

No need to act all loserific.

Vince single handedly won both games I belive vs NYJ blocking both FG's.

NE should really look into signing Kenrick Ellis. He was one of the top ranked run stuffing NT's in the NFL. If we didnt have Damon Harrison (The best run stopping NT) He'd be our starter. But injuries and lack of playing time I think he might leave via free agency.

Potroast signed with Washington so another one bites the dust. Only 1yr/4M? LOL Like BB wouldn't do that for one of the best dlinemen in NFL....WOW. Kinda shocked his value was that low? How does like Suh get 10000000 billion dollars yet he only get 4M? Knighton isnt Suh by any means but he isnt some scrub either......Market for Free Agents this year is huge so IDK. I think even Stephen Paea who just signed in Washington got a bigger contract than Potroast. Did Potroast suck this year or something?

Homers ITT gonna love this but I talk with Prawney about this recently.

IMO I think as of "right now"......NE might be the worst team ON PAPER in the AFC East.

Before Gambool and others freak out. I know Brady and BB will still be favorites to win the division and 90% chance they still will. But IMO ON PAPER theyre the worst. And each Bills, Fins, Jets all closed the gap between us and NE.

I'm sure NE will win the division but it will be great to see a new winner for Christ sake lolz. Brady ain't 26 anymore. You never know maybe he can hit that wall that Peyton hit this year and just all of a sudden start sucking.

*EDIT*

Fins just signed Jordan Cameron who without concussion issues is a top 5 TE in the NFL. Huge signing. That also means Buffalo might snag TE Clay from MIA sign him to an offer sheet which MIA most likely wont match now....Charles Clay is a great TE highly underrated a top TE in the NFL. I think longterm MIA will regrret letting him go for Cameron due to the concussion isse. That nothing to joke around about and 1 more can sideline him for the season maybe carrer.

And BUF still talking with Percy. If they can just get a halfway decent QB theyre (BUF) the best team in NFL hands down IMO.

How can a team be worst on paper and still be favorites to win it when there hasn't even been a minute played?

I'll reserve judgement until Jets/Bills figure out QB.

Has nothing to do with being a homer either. It's just the nature of the game that NFL is easier when you have a capable QB to steer the team.

No it makes sense. The team with the best QB (by light years), the best O-Line and the best skill positions players has the least talent in the division.

I definitely agree that ON PAPER Bills and Jets have closed the gap a bit. Maybe NE won't be able to rest starters in week 17 this season.

Right now Pats arguably have the worst D on paper in the AFCE, however their offense is so far above anything else in the AFCE that it more than makes up for it.

Edit: I may be giving Dolphins D too much credit.

Haven't been here all week but I obviousky you guys know what I'll say. Honestly, though, I just can't understand how anyone could be anything but a " in BB I trust" guy at this point. Makes zero sense not to just trust that this organization knows what they're doing at this point.

One thing I'll be very interested in is to see how much knowledge the staff and players have been able to soak up from Revis.
Everything I've heard out of Foxboro is that everyone's basically been like sponges, because Revis is out of this world when it comes to technique and his film study. Hopefully Dennard will show more of what he showed in his rookie season.

Worse on paper...i knew that comment would get huge reaction lol....

But like I said with Brady I still feel they got best chance to win.....

NE has no run game and no outside threat WR. Only 2 slot guys in Edleman and dud Amendola. And Gronk.

Jets and Bills both upgraded with mopre potentail weapons. BUF might get Percy and looks like Charles Clay. Adding Shady McCoy and with Watkins...Thats crazyness.

Jets with B. Marshall stud deep threat #1 WR/ Eric Decker (Now finally canm move to his natural #2 WR role)/ Kerley (NE Killer)(HOF 2023) LOL / Ivory ( Baby Beast mode)...Talking about adding Cecil Shorts III whos no dud, And Amaro, who in this new Chan Gailey spread offense which Amaro ran in Texas tech was a superstar in NCAA. Maybe that transalates. Amaro was the best rookie TE too....Hope he makes that jump in year 2.

Then if you want me to bring up our defense which is already a lock at top 3. Yea boy! Cant wait for that blitz heavy scheme with our DLine to attack , attack, attack!

And Also MIA....Tannehill I think is a top 15 QB ( But I also said Geno was top 15 last year LMFAO!! HAHA), Landry, Now TE Cameron. Suh signing....No joke IMO. Wallace coming back?

But liek I said Brady to Gronk trumps all but they took big step backwards while each AFCE team upgrade massively. Losing Vereen also sucks badly. I think they must get like CJ Spiller....>Screw Bush, He sucks...

Am I wrong? Reality is NE declined massively this past week while literally every team in AFC East got MUCH better....IDK how you dont grasp that.

Like I said still with Brady, youll be favorites (But at 38? IDK what you can continue to expect without ptential decline)

Plus we didnt even hit the draft yet. Jets with 2 picks in top 37 picks. Hopefully get Vic Beasley or Amari Cooper.

Watch NE go 16-0 this regular season lolz...

I think NE must get that duel threat backfield guy like Vereen. Im more of a Spiller fan than Bush.Bush older and body like glass. Is Ridley chance of a comeback?

Also I think Andre Johnson would of been great fit.

Now that you resigned Amendola, IDK if Percy would be the best fit, but you need something....

Brady window is literally 1 more year IMO. Then I think BB goes to Jimmy G. IDK why BB isnt going all out.

How do we need anything at receiver?

Last year we had one of the best offenses in the NFL. LaFell, Amendola, Edelman and Gronk with a mix-in of Tim Wright.
It's more than enough firepower and better than what any other divisional rival can muster .

Well the way im thinking is Brady has literally 1 year so why not get another top end WR?....Thats how im looking at it...

Yo question...Why isnt the Hernandez case on TV? And when do you think the verdict will happen. That court has been going on for like 4 weeks now already right?

Yeah, depending on who you ask they either LOVE White or they HATE him.

He didn't look like much last time I saw him play, but a full season under his belt and another off-season and who knows.
